Chapter 37- Facing the music

It's a couple of days after the fire and Kelly and Harper have been let into their apartment. They walk in and almost everything is burnt to a crisp. Harper let's out a big sigh and walks towards the kids rooms
"Everything's ruined Kelly!" Harper says letting a few tears roll down her face
"We can replace it all!" Kelly says putting his arm around Harper
"But all of the memories! And the happy times!" Harper says sadly
"We can't replace them" Harper says resting her head on Kelly's shoulder
"I know! But we can make new memories at our new place!" Kelly says
"What am I supposed to tell the kids how do I explain to a 7 year old, a 3 year old and two 2 year olds that they can't come home?" Harper says
"They will understand!" Kelly says giving Harper a reassuring look
"Let's get packing!" Harper says as she digs through the smoke dust
They only manage to save a few things when they hear a knock at the door. She opens the door and it's Voight
"She's got a good lawyer" Voight says
"Anna?" Harper says as Voight nods
Harper steps aside to let Voight into the brunt apartment
"She did this! She almost cost me and Kelly our life's! If we weren't firefighters then we would have died in that fire!" Harper shouts
"Calm down sweetheart" Kelly says wrapping his arms around her
"No im not gonna calm down! The kids could have been left without a mum and a dad because of her!" Harper shouts before grabbing her coat and walking out
"She's just a bit stressed" Kelly says with a sympathetic look on his face
"I know it can be hard going through something like this" Voight says before walking out
Kelly has a funny feeling about what Harper is going to do and he runs out and jumps in his car.
*Harpers POV*
Harper has just arrived at Anna's house and she walks up. She knocks on the door and seconds later Anna opens the door
"You can't be here!" Anna says before trying to shut the door
"No! I need you to listen!" Harper says pushing the door open
"I don't know what you have against me but I didn't set that fire! I don't have that low of a life that I would put yours and Riley's life's in danger! But why did you set my apartment on fire! I have young kids! They could have died that night!" Harper says with tears in her eyes
"Oh what and Riley could not have died in my fire?" Anna says
"I pulled him out! I started CPR! I gave your son the best chance at living and look he's fine now!" Harper shouts
"That's just your job! You get payed to do that!" Anna shouts
"And I would do it for free! I save people everyday! Why would I want you two to end up like the victims I pull out of house fires everyday?" Harper says with tears streaming down her face
Kelly pulls up and runs over
"Come on Harper! Let's get you to caseys" Kelly says leading her away
