This Is Heaven

We drove down to the spa Logan had booked for us. It was a beautiful place. I had always wanted to come here, but it's just far too expensive for me. I get an allowance from my parents and extra money by helping out at their vineyard now and then, but most of my money is being saved for college.

Or more like, I'm saving it for my expenses when I'm out there. My parents are already doing enough by paying for tuition and classes. It will be up to me to pay for all my expenses, though they refused the idea at first, they had no option but to agree.

Plus, the spa was way out of town, and since I had no car yet, I never thought it would happen.

We walked in and were greeted with a smile by some of the girls there.

"Hi, welcome. Do you have reservations?" One of the girls asked in a cheerful tone.

"Umm, hi. My boyfriend gave me your card and this packet with it." I was unsure of what to say, so I handed her the card and packet that looked like a pamphlet.

"Ok, have a seat if you may. Would you ladies like a drink while I check on the information?" She glanced over the packet and began typing in the code on her tablet.

"I do. Can I have a soda?" Meghan answered abruptly making all of us chuckle.

"Of course, I'll get one for each of you." She smiled and continued to press on the tablet.

She gestured to a few other girls that stood close by and they came over to greet all of us. "Oh, yes, I remember this one. Oh, you guys got a huge pampering packet. I'm so jealous right now." She smiled and talked to the girls beside her, giving them instructions.

"These ladies will take care of you. I hope you enjoy it, and please, if there is anything I can do for you, just ask. Enjoy your day ladies."

She smiled and walked away.

"Follow me, please." Another girl added.

We quickly entered a beautifully decorated room with cozy sofas, a tv, snacks, drinks, and a place for us to change.

"I'll need you ladies to strip, you can leave your undergarments if you'd like. Then you'll put on one of the robes provided on the counter next to you. I will give you ladies time. We'll be back in a few minutes for you." She closed the door and left us. Meghan and Ashley squealed making Lexie and me chuckle.

"Wow, Soph, who would have thought Logan had good taste? This place looks so fancy." Lexie widened her eyes and went over to a table, grabbing a cupcake with pink frosting that sat on a silver tray.

"I know, now I see why he said he couldn't get me a pup. He went all out for you Soph." I was saddened by her words. I felt guilty that he'd spent all this on me, and didn't have enough to get Ashley her own puppy.
