Give Me The Damn Phone

Carly's POV
After the ride ended
all five of us ran straight to the exit while the person in charge is tailing us, we finally lost him after we keeping turning around some booths

All of us is out of breath because of the chase, Ross looked at Bruce then at Leo

"Out of all the options the person would have given to you for a prize it just had to be a call duck" and the duck looks like it is going to attack Ross, Leo just patted Bruce at the head to calm him down

A cotton candy shaped flower is suddenly put in front of my face, the cotton candy flower is moved to reveal Kevin and Stacy holding cotton candy also

Stacy got a heart-shaped one and Kevin got star-shaped cotton candy, I looked behind them seeing a man giving out cotton candy to a kid
"so that's where you both went"

"and the candy tastes good" Kevin said as he shoves a handful at Ross' mouth

"the f**k Kevin" Ross said while coughing

Leo took a handful at my flower cotton candy "hey I haven't taken a picture of it yet"

And Leo just smirked at me and he ate it, I sighed and looked at the destroyed flower cotton candy that I now have

All of us did enjoy our time at the Fair, it was almost sunset and we are all hungry

Ross found a burger shack near and he asked Kevin to help him carry our orders, Stacy, on the other hand, got distracted with the face paint booth and wanted to get a face paint art on her face

I joined her at the booth and I was up first, the woman at the booth showed me some pictures of face paint that she can do

I don't like too much detail on my face so I have chosen small stars face paint art to put at the corner end of my eyes

She asked me what kind of colour paint that I want and I have chosen silver paint

After she was done I looked at the mirror near the exit of the booth and I looked okay I guess since it almost looked like makeup

The little stars at the corners of my eyes are very cute, so I went out

I heard Stacy and she said she wanted a huge flower at one side of her face, I giggled at her choice and I went out of the booth

No one was out and I know that Kevin and Ross are still waiting in line at the burger shack, so I remember that the Fair is near the beach so I went to the shore

The sun is almost setting and the fairy lights at the fair are starting to glow into a warm yellow, I removed my boots so I can walk by the waters

And as soon as the seawater touched my feet, I flinched a little since it's cold

After getting used to it I started walking along the shore and admiring the Fair, I heard a camera go off

And I looked and it was Leo and Bruce standing beside him with bread in his mouth

"Is there a bakery nearby?" I asked Leo because I don't remember that there is anyone selling bread at the Fair

"A little boy wanted to feed bruce so he gave him his bread" Leo looked at Bruce who is almost finish eating his bread

I suddenly remembered that Leo took my photo without me preparing myself

I looked at Leo and said "Leo give me the phone" as I walked towards him

Leo is retreating "Why do you want my phone?" he said in a cheeky grin

"Just give me the phone!!" and I ran to him which makes Leo run also

"Xavier give me the damn phone!" I said in a loud voice and Leo just raised his phone on one arm while running backwards

I think we were running for a solid 6 minutes since I can already feel my legs beginning to become tired

"Stop already, I'm running out of breath" I said as I stopped running both hands at my knees in a bent position

He stopped running and started making fun of me
"you have short legs, of course, you can't catch me Myers"

I don't know if my determination to want to see my photo or the insult that Leo gave me, suddenly gave me so much energy that I caught him off guard and I was finally near him

Leo couldn't do anything but raised his arm even more so I wouldn't reach his phone which forced me to be on my tippy toes

I hold on to Leo's collar to help me get more leverage but to stop me from reaching his phone Leo held my waist to stop me

After several attempts of me trying to reach his phone I got tired and I stopped trying, I went back flat at my feet and I noticed that he is still holding my waist and I'm still holding on to his collar

I retreated my hands as fast as I can and put both of them behind me, Leo let go also of my waist and put his hand behind his neck

I just looked around so I can just focus anywhere but this awkward tension and I noticed that the sun has set, I heard Stacy's voice from behind

I looked to where she is and she is very far away and running to me, I squint my eyes to get a better look at her face from afar

But the more she gets closer I can see that there is a carnation flower art on her face and she looks funny

That I just try to hold my laugh at the sight

"is that Stacy?, she looks like a lost child" I laughed and I glanced at Leo

Leo's head is just hovering on one of my shoulders and he is standing behind me, he looked focus at running Stacy to us with a confused and amused face

"that's just Stacy, she's always like that ever since we were little" I replied with a grin

"lucky her"

I glanced at him "why?"

"she knows what you look like when you were little, I wanna see little Carly too" and he sighs

For a moment I just felt my cheeks become warm
