Carly's POV
I was surprised, that caught me off guard and I almost stumble or I might have fallen off
But in the end, I closed my eyes and encircled my arms around him and pulled him closer, I was running out of breath though so I have to let go of him
He stopped kissing me and he put our foreheads together, we are catching our breaths
You can see how much we breathe we have to catch because of the cold smoke coming out of our mouths it was obvious, Leo still hasn't opened his eyes yet
And I already open mines, I still can't believe that happened
Leo's POV
November 8, 2021. Time 6:05, place: the Evergreen Lake, this is the first time I confessed to a girl
The first time I kissed Carly, I still haven't opened my eyes yet cause of course I am still embarrassed but thank goodness the snow made it look like my face is red my forehead is against Carly's forehead just like back at the observatory
I opened them slowly and I saw Carly's eyes that are what seems to be like they're half awake and half asleep, we looked at each other for a long time
Carly let go of me and skated back to the Lakehouse, sh*t it was too soon
I didn't hold myself back enough, I must have scared Carly
Today was the day that all of us are returning home and I feel like I was running out of time because I can see that Hunter and Ross are going to make their move on her, but I let that get into my head
Carly's POV
I skated back to the Lakehouse as fast as I could, without stopping I ran past Molly and Eddy and into the bedroom
I closed the door which startled Natasha as she is still sleeping
"sorry" I said to her and she went back to sleep
I sat down and put my head between my legs "what should I do" I whispered to myself
It happened all of a sudden that I wasn't prepared, my mind is still in a frenzy of not knowing what I feel about Leo
I can't reply to Leo at that moment, all of us got ready to go home and we ignored each other all the way back
••••few hours later••••
I got off the Car and Kevin helped me with my suitcase, I said goodbye to them everyone said bye to me except Leo who is driving the car
Leo was just looking ahead and not bothering to look at me, something in me hit when he didn't even care
I walked into my house and I see everyone waiting for me at the entrance, my brothers attacked me with a lot of questions
"what happened while you were at the lake?" Matt confronted me
"you look sad as f**k Carly" Sean said
"did you have fun?" Jasper said out loud from the kitchen as he is making toast
"Carly your home!!" Stacy ran to me, Mom and Dad were out
"Hey where's Mom and Dad?" I asked Jasper
"Oh they went out to meet with a long time friend" he said back to me
Oh, so that's why the place is a mess
I walked up to my room and Stacy followed me, she closed the door and sat on my bed
"tell me all the details" She said, I can't help it I hugged her and I cried
"wh-what's wrong?" she was surprised and patted me on my back, I told her everything especially about the kiss and how I feel
"tell me, what do you feel when you see him" Stacy told me, I looked at her
"well..my heart starts to beat fast and my cheeks become warm" I said feeling my cheeks become warm again
"Carly...you're in love" she smiled at me and side hugged me
I finally realized everything now when she said those words to me
"I'm what?"
She grinned "you're in LOVE"
"though Leo did a quick kiss on you, that was too soon but yeah you are in love" shed added
I put my hand in my chest, so I am in love with Leo too
"how about this after school tomorrow let's go to the mall with Jake and Jana, they've been wanting to know about the sceneries of the lakehouse" she said
We talked all night and Stacy gave me a facial which she always wanted to try on me, Mom and Dad came back home last night and asked me how was my trip
I told them everything and I left out the kiss part
••••the next day••••
Leo's POV
I got back home yesterday and stayed at my bed the whole time, my alarm rang and Mom came in to wake me up
"Hey Leo are you okay?" she asked me as I was still wrapped in my blanket and patted me
"yeah Big Bro what happened to you" Kathrina said in her princess gown as she walked in
I didn't answer and she shrugs it off and walkout
"Mom..." I said, Mom gave her focus to me
"I kissed her too soon" I said and I hid myself under the blankets, any girl would be startled when a guy kisses them too quickly
"Just give it time, she hasn't told you how she feels about it yet right?" she peeked a little at me in the blankets and I nodded
"then it will be fine, a girls feeling is complicated because she hasn't had time to figure it out when you kissed her" she smiled at me
That gave me a little hope that maybe Carly would return my feelings, I don't plan on going to school since it will be too awkward for the both of us
Carly's POV
I woke up with Stacy sleeping horizontally on top of me and she is very heavy
"ugghh Stacy move please" I said
"nooo this is a comfortable spot" she groaned
This is going to be a difficult morning
