The Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team regrets to announce that due to the injuries sustained at the British GP, Scarlet Crusoe will be unable to take part in the remainder of the season.
We will announce our replacement driver plans in due course. At this time, we would like to send our thoughts and good wishes to Scarlet Crusoe.

@scarlet_crusoe: Recovery starts now.
I am completely gutted to announce that I will be withdrawing from the 2022 Grand Prix season. This decision was not one taken lightly, but due to the extent of my injury it has been deemed the only option.
To race in Formula One has been my dream since I was 12 years old, and to say that I have now not only raced but won a Grand Prix is something I will remember forever. Thank-You to @lewishamilton and @totowolff for giving me the opportunity, I'm already excited for the 2023 season when I will be back in the car.
I would like to take this moment to wish all my fellow drivers the best of the luck for the rest of the season. I will be cheering on from the sidelines, although as soon as I can I hope to cheer from the paddock.
