A full month passed with Izuku still in his medically induced coma. In his unconscious state Izuku had gone through a total of 10 more surgeries, most were in hopes of improving his future quality of life.

Even after the month had passed the bandages that covered his face had yet to be removed fully other than being changed and replaced. Toshinori and Inko had visited every chance they could get, for a while atleast. After two weeks Inko couldn't bring herself to keep visiting him everyday his states hurt too much to witness every day. Toshinori on the other hand continued every day, spending the time telling Izuku about his days and his most memorable times as AllMight. Toshi apologized often for not telling Izuku about him being AllMight, he even told him about One for All. Toshi even went as far to pretend he was having full conversations with his son.

"I'm so sorry Izuku. If, if I had just given you One for all non of this would've happened.. you, you would've been alright. Everything would've been different. But I love you son, more than anything and I am so proud of you and everything you achieved. You've made me so proud surviving the impossible, and you'll keep making me proud. I hope you wake up soon bud, I miss you we all do. Their ushering me out now haha. I'll see you tomorrow buddy sweet dreams." Toshinori wiped the tears from his eyes as he ran his hand through his sons hair lightly patting his head.

Sighing deeply he said his thanks to the staff as he made his way to his car. Sitting down Toshinori just sat there, contemplating everything that was happening. He thought about his sons future what his life is going to be like now. He couldn't help but break down, he cried the symbol of peace the number one hero, completely broke down. He was angry at the world, that was so cruel to his boy what did he do to deserve his fate! It wasn't right! It wasn't fair! He sat and prayed to whoever would listen that his boy would be okay that he would get to live a happy life.

Wiping away his tears and anguish Toshinori out on a brave face as he drove home. He couldn't help but think about how things would be, no should be! Different! How is son should have had his entire life of promise ahead of him. Why was this world so cruel?

Finally arriving at home Toshinori took a deep breath preparing himself to face the rest of his family. Getting out his car he finally made his way inside, where usually he should be met with the happy smiles of one of his children, he was met with only silence.

"Hey Ink, how was your day today?" He. Said collapsing onto the living room couch trying to start a conversation with his wife.

"Ink?" He called out again when she didn't answer. Standing up and working his way to the kicthen he saw Inko making dinner as if nothing was wrong, but he saw the tears in her eyes.

Toshinori sighed as he saw his wife's state. A week after Izuku's hospitalization Toshinori noti Ed discrepancies in her behaviour. She would often stare into space becoming almost catatonic and would just cry, no wails no movement just silent tears. She. Would also start doing random chores and be happy as could be but wouldn't respond to anything, like she was in her own world.

Toshinori wasn't an expert but he believed it was a form of disassociation, potentially due to the grief and stress it's her way of coping. Pretending that nothing is wrong. As what was quickly becoming a routine Toshi gently grab his wife's shoulders pulling her close and hugging her tight before ushering her to the couch and placing a blanket over her.

Hiding behind the wall Toshi held his fist to his mouth as he chocked his sobs, his breathing erratic and hushed.

Pulling himself back together with a cough and a firm slap to the face, he made his way to the kitchen to hopefully finish what Inko was making to try and distract himself. He noticed quickly that the dish she was making was Katsudon....Izukus favourite.
