Sunset's Home for Children Bake Sale

Brooklyn, NY

(Evangelina)

Today was the day of the bake sale. The kid's so excited. I was excited. Many people come around to donate and try delicious homemade sweets. It is also a chance for the kids to meet people so they can get adopted. I was waiting for Lucifer to arrive. I debated filing a restraining order against Michael as I waited for him. I still can't believe that jerk showed up at my apartment last night! The nerve! Breathe, Lina, he's not worth it. Right now, focus on the bake sale and the little ones.

*Phone Beeps*

*text message from Lucifer*

"I'll be there in 10 minutes, traffic love."

"Sounds good. Be safe, see you soon,"  I replied

The bake sale was already getting packed with customers. I even see a majority of them socializing with the children. It brings a smile to my face.

10 minutes later...

Lucifer arrived, and he looked sexy as hell. I couldn't help but blush. I could feel the other women ogling him. I couldn't help but feel a bit jealous. He spotted me and thundered towards me, passing everyone. Within a split second, he grabs and kisses me passionately in front of everyone. I was immediately lost in the kiss. He then cupped my face and looked at me. God d*mmit, I get lost in those piercing red eyes every time.

"Did you miss me, bumblebee? Cause I certainly missed you,"  he asked

"Did you miss me, bumblebee? Cause I certainly missed you,"  he asked

"I missed you as well," I exclaimed

I could feel the kids and everyone else looking at us with smiles, some jealous. I would enjoy kissing him some more, but it's about the children right now. I showed Lucifer the ropes, and he sure is a quick learner. I introduced him to some of the kids. Some were shy, and others were silly, but they also began teaching him some new tricks. As time passed, the bake sale was again a success; they raised $35,000. That was enough for school supplies, clothes, food, etc.
