My parents had left since I've dreamed of him last.
Something told me he could know what I was, maybe even accept it. Not only accept it, but make it come true. All of my dreams.

When I woke, reality once again seemed so much more dull than dreaming.

I remembered the way he'd looked at me when I spoke his name - Morpheus - as if he could see right through my eyes, into my soul.

I'd called my parents once again, taking a long shower right after. Pulling my white sleeping dress over my head, the weather rising up to 29° Celsius during lunchtime, I felt safe from unbearable heat. I didn't want to feel all sticky when I woke.

I lay back in bed then, staring against the ceiling, running my hands through my wet streaks.

Maybe he wasn't even waiting for me in my mind. Maybe my dreams decided to abandon him.

Once I opened my eyes, I saw something much less expected.
Two golden eyes, shining brightly through a cloud of fog.

"Don't be shy. Come closer."

The voice lured me, smooth and silky.
It reminded a tinge of a devilish cat.
I tried to see more than its beautiful golden eyes, but the weather hindered me from it. Stepping forward, I made the creature let its voice rise once more.

"Oh, how sweet you are. Such an easy thing to desire." A soft purr escaped as the golden eyes disappeared. "What are you?" I whispered, trying to sort my mind. It was as if covered in the fog I saw. "You don't know?" The voice echoed. I shook my head. "Oh, you seem to have gotten lost then, Lolita. You better open your eyes soon."

Was I truly sleeping? The fog started to close around me, until I saw nothing more than white. I felt it wash over me, like a shower of rain, before I woke in bed once more. Staring back against the same crack in the ceiling, looking back at the clock, I realized only minutes had passed. It was the same day.

I pushed my hair back from my neck and turned to the side, staring against the wall my bed was pressed against. Shutting my eyes closed. Now, let me dream.
