I hear alarm go off and groan

I should've went to bed early

Last night me, Mateo, Jeremiah, and Desarea went out to dinner then an arcade. It was Paxton and Novahs 10 month anniversary.

It was fun and the reason why my friends haven't texted me is because Mateo told them I needed space so they didn't want to bother me

They were also under the influence that I told him to say that

We got into an argument when they left and now he won't say anything to me

I don't really care that he told them that anymore

Right now I'm supposed to be getting ready cause Elena wants to spend the day with me since school starts in 3 days

She says I need a makeover. Well not need but like she wants to give me one

I still need to buy a book bag and school supplies because I already brought everything else

My door opens and Mateo walks in but only stopping at the doorframe

"My mom just wanted me to make sure you're awake" he says coldly

I mentally slump "Last nigh-" he cuts me off mid sentence

"I'm not doing this with you right now Lylah" and he leaves, shutting my door

I was gonna apologize for overreacting last night but now he's not getting shit from me

I may have overreacted a little but how would you feel if a, then, stranger tells your friends to not talk to you

I decide to finally get up and get ready. She said we're gonna go shopping, then lunch, and after that we're going to get facials and our nails done

I wanted to tell her I know how to do my own nails but she seemed so happy so I just kept it to myself

After brushing my teeth it throw on an all black hoodie with some black biker shorts and put on my platform converses.

I sit down at my vanity to do my hair and mascara. When I'm done I put on some of my bracelets and my stacked necklaces

I grab my phone and the charger and head downstairs. It's 7:30 meaning I got dressed in less than 30 minutes

When I get to the kitchen, Mateo is grabbing his plate from his mom

"Just in time" Elena says as she hands me a plate of French toast sticks with syrup in a serving bowl

"Thank you" I smile and sit down

"I'm gonna go get ready so eat up" she says before exiting the kitchen
