I feel a wet towel over my forehead and it makes me jump up

I instantly regret it because I get a pounding headache

"Take easy ma'am" a nurse says and I look at her then start to panic

A bunch of questions pop into my head but the first thing I do is feel my stomach

When it's not hard I shout "MY BABY" the lady immediately responds "The baby is with its father ma'am please calm down"

"N-no no no, he's not supposed to be here yet" I say breathing heavily "Ma'am please calm down and I'll explain please" she pleads and I take deep breaths

Once I'm chill she starts to talk

"You had a server panic attack and you lost consciousness and when you were brought here you weren't breathing so they had to take your baby out via c-section and you've been passed out for a day" she says calmly

I take in what she's saying and just sit there

"What about my baby" she nods and answers

"You're baby is on the way to you right now with the father" just as she says that the door opens and Mateo walks in with my baby in his arms

"Ma'am you and your baby are clear to go home tomorrow since you just woke up and she just got out of the NICU and hour ago" I hear what he's saying but when I process it I look at him with a frown

"He's a boy" I say confused and he chuckles

"Maam you had a girl"

Mateo hands me our daughter and I cradle her in my arms and start to cry

"She's beautiful" I whisper. The door shuts and I look up to see the doctors gone

"She has your eyes" I say smiling at him

Before I know it his lips are on mines and I can't help but to kiss him back

I missed this so much

I pull away when I remember I have a baby in my arms

"Please don't ever scare me like that again" he whispers against my lips and I nod my head and look down at our baby then smile when I see her moving around in my arms

The Doctor explained to us our situation

My daughter was born at 8 pounds exactly and since she was big enough and healthy, she got out of the NICU fast

Everyone met her and I think I have Elena baby fever cause she wouldn't even let me get her back

The doctor said I can start breastfeeding by tomorrow since I just woke up and he doesn't want me to feel overwhelmed

He also said we have to sign the birth certificate tomorrow so we have to think of a name

Everyone went home and Elena said she'll set up a nursery for me since the one at my house is literally for a boy. Well I guess it could be neutral

Right now Mateo is sleep whicg is very much needed because he told me he hasn't slept since the day before I had my baby

I'm changing her right now since she wanted to be rude and shit while I was holding her

I honestly don't know who she got her hair color from because me and Mateos hair is dark brown almost black and hers is a very light brown.
