𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞

    EASTYN SCROLLED through her instagram, liking her friends posts and liking some random reels being edits of JJ Maybank, aka her fictional husband.

   The door bell rang, making her jump since the house was really silent. She overthank since she was home alone right now, so she hesitantly made her way to the door. Eastyn placed her palm on the door knob, slowly opening it as she popped her head out to be met with, "Matt" she murmured.

    The two haven't talked since the fight meaning it was pretty awkward for them right now, "can I come in?" the boy gestured as he asked.

   Eastyn nodded slightly as she opened the door wider, letting the boy enter her house. He set the bag of McDonald's on her kitchen counter before sitting on the stool.

   She watched as he did that before hesitantly sitting on the stool next to him. She placed her elbows on top of the counter, "um what are you doing here"

    He turned round to look at her, him fidgeting with his fingers under the table, "I just," he paused, trying to gather his words, " I um wanted to apologize for not letting you be happy with... Austin"  he murmured.

   Her eyes widened, Matt apologizing? The same Matt that would make fun of her for everything she said? or did?

   " you're.. apologizing?" She repeated, reviving a slight nod from the boy.

   " yeah" he sighed, resting his shoulders from the tension. He now turned around, not daring to look at the girl.

   the silence grew, as Matt just sat waiting for tee's response, " I forgive you" the brunette shrugged, making Matt turn around to look at her again, "I know you just want to look out for me Matt, I get it."

  Matt opened his mouth to speak, but the doorbell rang as it interrupted his speech. Tee mouthed, 'sorry', before going to the front door to check who it was.

   Just then, the blue eyed boys eyes widened to see who it was. Austin. He had his arm around her waist, smiling at her slightly before walking over to Matt, "sup bro"

   Matt just nodded slightly as he pressed his lips into a thin line. The blue eyed boy patted the counter before hopping off of the stool, "I'll get going" he murmured, not looking at either of them. The scene in front of him made him have the feeling of puking everywhere.

   But again, why didn't he want Eastyn to be with gas station guy? He did hate her after all it wasn't like he wanted her or something, right?

         EASTYN SAT with her friend group at the triplets house, nic once again talking about how birds could take over and end humanity, "just listen! I mean birds would think of us nasty humans and be like 'we should all just group up and just attack them'. You see what Im saying?" nic explained with an excited expression.

   Eli just rolled her eyes, knowing the eldest triplet wouldn't shut up unless they changed the subject, "before I forget, I'm hosting a party this weekend since my parents won't be home and they let me do whatever so?"

   one thing about Eastyn, she loved parties. Whether she was in a good mood or even a bad one, she could never turn down a party, "oh my god yes!" she cheered, "this is why your my best friend, eli"

   " one thing tho, who are you going to invite?" Chris asked as he leaned back on the sofa, crossing his arms as he glared at the girl.

   "great question" she paused, keeping her index finger up, "everyone I guess?"  She shrugged.

   " oh my god this is going to be so fun!!" tee giggled as she clapped her hands together like she was a baby.

   " okay don't get too excited, Eastyn" Matt said sarcastically, making her squeal turn into a frown as she gave him a look.

   " shut your mouth, lover boy"

        The girls thought of going dress shopping for the party this weekend, of course dragging the boys with them. Eastyn had invited Austin to join them too, meaning she had to look extra good for the party.

   they made their way to a small dress store in the mall, they'd buy most of their dresses from here. Tee and Eli interlocked their arms as they looked at all the dresses displayed infront of them, the boys just rolling their eyes, "why are we even here?" chris groaned as he lazily followed the two.

   " to help us pick, duh!" Eli stated as she picked out 2 different dresses from the ones hanged.

   " wait, I have two eyes, and you dont?" Matt tilted his head as he crossed his arms over his chest, looking at the two with a confused sarcastic look.

   the two just ignored his statement, going on to pick other options to wear. It was now time for the whole reason the boys came with them, to pick a dress.

   The triplets sat on the round chairs in the changing room hallway, waiting impatiently for one of the girls to leave the room, "will you hurry up!" chris whined, but received a nudge from his older brother.

   " don't" nic warned

   finally Eli came out as she wore a dark olive green dress that showed the curves of her body. It slithered all the way till it hit the floor, a long cut on her left side showing the inside of her body until her upper knee. she widened her arms to show the boys, "so?"

   "this is the one"
   "yeah this one"
   " number one"

    She smiled as she nodded, before going back in the changing room to change back to her comfortable clothes. As Eli did that, tee came out of her changing room, showing a black dress that went down just above her knees. A knot on each side of the dress to give it a more fashionable look. The girl placed her palms on each hip, turning around to show the boys her dress.

   " how do you look so good with such a simple dress that's my question?" nic smiled as he cheered for the girl, only receiving a giggle from his compliment.

   " thats what I'm saying" Chris added.

   she pressed her lips into a thin line, glancing at Matt but he was not saying anything. A slight frown painted on her face but it didn't really show. She wanted to grab his attention, "Matt?"

   he snapped his head back at her face, his lips slightly parted as he tried to form words but a hm just came out of it, "what do you think?" she asked

   he only nodded, gulping and hoping no one could know his true reaction, "yeah it's looks good" he murmured.

   " okay" she sighed, now going back to the changing room.

  Chris and nic gave him a disapproving look. He must have felt their stares because the boy turned around to be met with his brothers facial expression, 'what?' He mouthed.

   ' are you being serious right now?" chris mouthed back as he rolled his eyes
 
   Matt just shrugged before the silence came back, now all you could hear is the two girls shuffling from changing inside the changing room.
