Arjun Shergill - A man who always appears happy, but sometimes looks can be deceiving. He has yearned for his brother for 12 long years but what will happen when he will get him back.
After sometime all went back to jaisingh mansion where gayatri and tanu were waiting for them. Though tanu was still a bit shaken about the things arhaan has told all of them last night but she was more concerned about arjun then herself and arhaan. As soon as the boys arrived tanu got hold of arjun and took him to her room to talk.
Arjun "kya hua chipkali ? Yahan kyun le aayi? Maa se bhi nahi mila main theek se."
Tanu "Tu theek hai na?" She asked concerned

Arjun was trying to keep his mind off that information but now that tanu was asking him directly, he couldn't help but think about all that. He sighed and spoke "I am fine. May be. Pata nahi tanu. All these years I blamed mumma for leaving like that, for taking aru away from us, for being so selfish. And now it turns out that she selflessly gave up everything so that she can save aru and She herself led a painful and guilt driven life because of that. I never once tried to find out the truth, mumma itni pareshaan thi par fir bhi main apni hi duniya me khoya raha, maine hamesha ye hi mana ki mere saath galat hua aur wo galat unhone kiya. I am such a bad son tanu. She regretted leaving us her whole life aur mujhe to unki death par bhi sirf aru ka khayal tha. I didn't even felt bad about loosing her." He said with his eyes downcasted.
Tanu knew Arjun will be feeling guilty. Her brother is gem of a person. He is the most selfless person she has ever seen. Tanu held his hand and made him look up. "You are a wonderful son Arjun, you always were and always will be. Mumma ke jaane ka reason hum teeno ko hi nahi pata tha, both me and dad remained angry with her. Dad ka nahi pata par agar wo kabhi wapas aati bhi to I would have never given her a chance, cause I really hated her for doing that to us. But you were the one who never hated her, let alone mumma Tu to Mr Goienka ko bhi kabhi bura nahi bol paya. You accepted the truth the way it was presented at that time. You remember when we at first discussed about it, main unse gussa thi, naraj thi, shayad tab nafrat bhi karti thi but you told me that she has all the rights to live her life the way she wanted. She also deserves to be happy, even if it meant for her to marry Mr. Goienka. Tune kabhi unse nafrat nahi ki arjun, your only complain was that she took away aru from us."
Arjun was in tears by now "maine nafrat nahi ki, par unhe samjha bhi to nahi tanu. 16 saal unhone mujhe pyaar diya aur unke jaane ke baad maine kabhi ek baar bhi palat kar unki taraf nahi dekha. Aru se milne gaya main par mumma se milne ke baare me kabhi socha tak bhi nahi maine."
Tanu "Arjun situations aise nahi thi ki tu ye sab karta. She never contacted us. Aur jaise wo gayi thi without saying anything to anyone, without giving any of us any time to process anything usme tera reaction bilkul justified tha. Let alone justified, it was noble. You never even blamed her."
Arjun "but I didn't take care of her like i should have." He said as tears trickled down his cheeks.
Just then aru came in the room "she was well cared for bhaiya. yash uncle made sure that she is. And trust me she knew how much you loved her, how much you both loved her. What she did was all for our happiness and all her sacrifices will go in vain if you let yourself break like this now. Mumma ne kabhi aap logon se dubara contact nahi kiya kyunki wo khud apne hi guilt me kho gayi thi aur wo ye nahi chahti thi ki aap dono ya dad kabhi bhi wo feel karo jo wo kar rahi thi. In a way it was actually her wish to not meet you guys again." Arhaan choked saying it. He waited for a minute and spoke again "unke guilt ke chalte maine saath rehte huye bhi mumma ko kho diya tha bhaiya pls ab aap aisa mat karna. I won't be able to take it bhaiya." He said and started sobbing.
