I woke up to a big lump on my bed and someone playing with my hair.

I opened my eyes and Roman was there. Laying right next to me.

"Get up," I said tiredly.

He then hugged me and hid his face.

"I wish every morning was like this." he said, looking up at me.

I blushed and smiled at his comment. I hugged him back and eventually fell asleep again.

When I woke up, he was still there but he asleep.

I carefully got out of bed so I wouldn't wake up and went to the bathroom.

After that, I went downstairs and ate breakfast.

I finished my breakfast and then looked outside. It was bright and sunny.

Leonardo seemed like he was in a good mood. He wasn't all the way healed but wanted to go home so he felt more comfortable.

Grandfather was on his phone and sipping his coffee. Father was on the phone talking to someone while eating.

Aria and Lia were probably sleeping.

I went upstairs and Roman was awake. We talked for a while and he then invited me to go to a park with him.

"You'll have to ask my father," I told him.

He groaned and then agreed. He left and he was gone for about ten minutes.

Once he came back, he said that he allowed me to go and I started to get ready.

Roman finished getting ready first so he got into the car.

Right after he left, Aria and Lia went up to me.

"What'd you guys do last night?" Lia asked while smiling.

"We went straight to sleep," I told them.

"and DON'T think we did anything else since we didn't."

"Sure.." Aria said.

"Tell us everything that happens later!" Aria says, winking.

I playfully pushed her and left the house. I got into the car and he handed me a rose.

"When'd you get this?" I asked.

He smiled.

"It's a secret."

He drove for around ten minutes and once we got close to the place, he put a blindfold on me to make sure I didn't know where we were headed.

Then, the car stopped and he took the blindfold off of me.

We were at a different park then last time. It was a scenic view with mountains you can see fading away as they got farther.

He led me down the pathway and I was mesmerized by it.

I couldn't stop staring at it. Water was below us, making a reflection from the mountains.

I went to get my phone from my jacket but then saw Roman. On, one, knee.

"Will you marry me?"

"No!" I blurted.

I watched his face turn into disappointment.

"I mean, this is just too fast!"

"Then I'll wait," he says, grabbing my hands.

"I'll wait however long you need."

"Are you sure?"

He nods and kisses my cheek.

"I'm sure."

* * *

"He what?!?" Lia and Aria said in unison.

"Then what did you do??" Lia asked.

"I said, 'No!'"

     Their jaws dropped.

"Did you really?!" Emiliano says, barging in.

     I nodded.

"And then what did he do?!"

"He said he'll wait."

"That's it!?" Aria exclaimed.

"Why didn't you say yes?"

"It felt like things were going too fast.."

We kept on talking until it was time for dinner.

After dinner I went back to my room to paint. I kept the image of the scenery I saw today and wanted to try to paint it.

I had forgotten to take a picture of it so I tried to follow the image in my head.

I continued painting and once I finished, I went downstairs.

     Almost everyone was down here.

Lia and Aria and some of our brothers were playing a board game, Grandfather was on his phone, Father was on a call with someone, and Vincenzo was working on his laptop.

I eventually joined Lia and Aria when it was a new round.

Everyone was having a good time, laughing, smiling, and having fun.

This was the funnest I've had in the longest time.

I think I'm fine with the way things are.

I was finally happy.
