AE-RA'S DAY WAS ALREADY terrible and the hate comments were not helping. Firstly, her parents decided that they wanna have a second honeymoon and canceled the plans to join last minute. Secondly, she had spotted Max and Kelly walking into the paddock hand in hand. How lovely that feels.

Her Grandmother was rather cheerful when she was told her son and his wife was not going to be joining after all. "What am I going to do with these two extra passes though?" Yang Yang's father was dissapointed that they had gone to waste. Yang Yang seemed to be thinking hard about something. "Don't think too hard Yang Yang." The singer turned to his friend as he gave her a look of confusion. "We don't want you hurting yourself." Ae-ra and Yang Yangs father both bursted into fits of laughter as they high fived one another. Her friend on the other hand, just looked like he was plotting their deaths.

"For the record I was deciding which two fans I should give the VIP passes to." Ae-ra then moved her eyes throughout the crowd when she spotted a little kid and his Dad. The son look sad as he watched the people in the paddock pass by and turned to his father. He pointed at the paddock and his Dad shook his head 'No' and then led him to the direction of the grandstands. "Come with me." She grabbed Yang Yang and lead him towards the father and son. "Excuse me Sir!" The man turned around to see where the shout came from and when he saw the two of them headed their way, he stopped. "Yes?"

"Are you two by any chance big fans of Ferrari?" Yang Yang asked. The boy perked up. "My Dads been a fan since forever!" The boys father chuckled at his sons enthusiasm and patted his shoulder. "I'm Tommy by the way and this is my Dad, John!" The two singers exchange wide smiles with the young boy. "I'm Yang Yang. This is my best friend Ae-ra."

"We were wondering if you guys would like the two extra VIP passes we have. My parents were gonna join us but they backed out last minute." John looked taken aback. "Oh no, that's alright!" He rushed out. "Please I insist!" Tommy turned towards John and gave him the cutest puppy eyes he could manage. "Well..." John paused, as if deciding if this was a prank or not. "Who could say no to free VIP tickets."

Tommy gave them all a big squeeze and John couldnt stop thanking them. Yang Yang handed them both their passes and guided them towards the paddock. Ae-ra stayed behind for a second as she was getting rather hungry and wanted to get sonething to eat.

"That was very nice of you." An accented voice spoke behind her. She turned around to see who it was and she nearly freaked out. "You're Sebastian Vettel." Her voice was so quiet you could barely hear it. "And you're?" He extends his hand towards her which she shook. "Ae-ra." Sebastian nodded his head. "Well it's lovely to meet you Ae-ra!"

"I'm dreaming." She spoke with disbelief.  "I must be." Sebastian chuckled at her words. "Must be a nice dream then." Sebastian was trying his hardest not to laugh. "Enjoy the race!" He patted her shoulder as he said his goodbye and walked off. Ae-ra on the other hand was as frozen as a statue.

"Ae-ra?" But that voice woke her out of her frozen state. "Max."

Max was taken back by her stand-offish tone. "I haven't heard from you in awhile. I was beginning to think you got bored of me." He chuckled nervously. Ae-ra just folded her arms in front of her and gave him a half smile. "Just been busy." The silence that developed after that was rather tense. "How's Kelly? I saw the two of you enter the paddock together."

Max's shoulders tensed up. "About that," he let out a nervous huff. "We're not really togeth–"

"Ae-ra!" Yang Yang jogged over towards them and paused when he saw who she was with. "Max Verstappen?" Ae-ra nodded. "Max, this is Yang Yang. Yang Yang this is Max." The two shook hands. "Sorry to interrupt."

Yang Yang turned towards Ae-ra and she could tell by the mischievous look in his eyes that he would be questioning her relentlessly. "My Dad wants to introduce you to the drivers."

"Sorry Max. Mabye we can catch up later." He nodded in reply.

As he watched them walk away something in him decided it was wise to get her number while he had the chance.
"Ae-ra!" She turned back around and waited for Max to walk towards them.

"I was wondering if I could get your number? DM is a lot harder to communicate on." She paused for a second as if contemplating before nodding her head. She gave him her phone and he entered his details. She did the same on his. "I'll text you later." She said before walking off. Her words kept replaying in his head as he walked back to his garage. "She'll text me later." He whispered the words to himself and a giddy feeling flowed in his chest. "Who will text you later?" Kelly asked him. He paused for a second as he remembered the situation he was in.

Reality came crashing down on him and the giddy feeling he once felt was replaced with frustration. He sighed. "Nothing."
