WHEN AE-RA ARRIVED AT MAX'S home for the surprise that was no longer a surprise, she was greeted with silence. Where the hell is he? "Max?!" She got no reply. She decided to have a look around incase he didn't hear her.She checked the living room, nothing. She checked his gaming room, nothing. She then checked the kitchen. There Ae-ra found a note addressed to her.

If you're reading this it means you and Daniel didn't do anything reckless and have made it home safely! Now I know what your thinking. 'Max where the hell are you?' I promise it will all make sense soon enough.
If you go outside you'll find a ride that I have organized for you.

HE SAID LOVE, HE SAID LOVE!Deep breathes, he was just ending the letter. Nothing to act so delusional over. Oh who am I kidding I am the definition of delusional.
She stopped her rambling thoughts and headed outside. She was glad she had dressed nicely before leaving or she would have been in a bit of a predicament.
When she headed outside she had found Lando of all people waiting for her. "Surprise!" Ae-ra gave the driver a big hug. Before hitting him on the arm. "Ow! What was that for?"
"How long have you been waiting outside?!" Lando gave her a guilty smile before answering, "I was here when Daniel dropped you off."
"You could have just told me! It would have saved me time." Lando shrugged. "I was under strict orders not to spoil anything." He then made his way around the car and hopped into the drivers seat.
Ae-ra rolled her eyes and climbed into the passenger seat. "Hello." She nearly jumped out of her skin. "Charles?" He nodded in greeting. "I'm making sure Lando doesnt spoil anything."
She turned to Lando who had already started driving the car. She could see he wanted to desperately say what it was but was trying his hardest to bite his tongue. "Here you go." Charles handed her a blindfold. She took it and put on. "Really? No questions asked?" Lando spoke from the seat next to her. She shrugged. "I trust you lot wouldn't hurt me."
She felt the car swerve a little and she let out yelp. She heard Charles cuss in french before Lando bursted into laughter. "That's pull over!" Charles exclaimed.

CHARLES THEN DROVE THEM all the way to where Max asked them to. She slowly felt the car slow before it finally came to a stop. "Ferrari is still better." She heard him mumble before he got out. "Keep the blindfold on but hold on to my arm. I'll tell you when you can take it off."
She reached out to grab his arm before slowly stepping out the car. She heard Charles hiss and then his arm disappear. "Hello?" Ae-ra tried reaching out for an arm but felt nothing but air. She could hear Charles and Lando bickering before Charles mumbled something about waiting in the car. "I'm not about to prove Max right. Here you go." She then grabbed onto Landos arm and the two of them started to walk. It sound like they were near the water as she could hear the sound of waves.
"Okay. You can take your blindfold off now." Once she did she came face to face with Max's boat. "Thank you for the ride Land–" When she turned around Lando was already halfway towards the car. "Have fun!" He yelled over his shoulder.
Ae-ra didn't waste anytime before stepping onto the boat. She followed thw rose petals that she assumed would lead her to the man who she had missed. She couldn't even imagine what it would be like once she started preparing for her comeback. But she didn't want to think about that now.
As she walked into a room located onto the boat she was greeted with the sight of Max holding a bouquet of her favourite flowers. Light pink tulips. "Max..." she sang out. "You didn't have to do all this." She gave him a soft kiss on the lips and brought him in for a warm embrace. "But I did love." He gave her a soft kiss on her temple before separating himself from her. "This is the least I could do."
"You are indescribable. You make me feel things I didn't know I could. I thought for the longest time that I would never be good enough but then you..." he didn't need to say anything more. He simple gave her flurry of kisses all over her face. "What I'm trying to say is that I love you. I have the moment you smiled at me that day in the paddock."
"My delusion were correct once again." Max laughed and she gave him a another soft kiss. "I love you too."
"Does that mean I can call you my girlfriend now?" She giggled. "Of course."
