Dinner
As I enter the dining hall I already see everyone seated, except Astria who has not arrived yet.
Well Orion did go hard on me today.
"You say that excuse everyday" says Orion
I give him a mental glare as I apologize for me being late and sit down.
Then Astria comes in and she sits down too as dinner is served.
"Astria, how was your class today? Sarah had done an excellent job in teaching Eleanor so I had decided to assign you the same tutor as her" the Duke says
"It was difficult Papa." she says hesitantly, "But I will work hard and catch up soon to make you all proud of me!"
"Well it is good to hear that." he says as he continues, "also I believe it is now the perfect time for you to decide whom you choose for your personal maids. You can choose any 3 of them"
Wait, isn't this the scene where the Duke offers Astria three maids instead of one or two? Eleanor feels humiliated as she only has one personal maid and her father is offering a commoner three of them so she throws a tantrum.
Also Astria feels that Mellisa is being mistreated by Eleanor so she also asks one of her maids to be her.
Eleanor starts saying bad words to her and this further damages her reputation as she shouts at Astria and disturbs everyone.
"Can I choose any of them?" Astria says as she wishes to confirm
The Duke just nods as Alex glares at him for his clear favoritism towards her.
"Then can I take Emma, Chloe and Melissa as my maids?" she asks as I frown
Why is she asking Milli to be her maid when I am not even mistreating her!
"Melissa is Nora's personal maid, dear" the Duchess says
"But I thought I could choose anyone..." Astria says as Alex frowns
"Why do you want Eleanor's maid!" Alex exclaims angrily
"I-uh-hic-I" Astria stutters as she starts tearing up, "she was just n-nice to me t-today, unlike the o-others who-hic-are not s-so nice because they h-hate my m-mother."
"Are the maids mistreating you?" the Duke asks
"What are you saying dear?" mother intervenes as she says, "I have always seen the maids treating you nicely especially because they have seen you grow up. It must have been a misunderstanding."
"No mother, they sometimes....may-hic-maybe you are r-right, I d-do not wish to blame a-anyone...it's just that I feel that Melissa will serve me with a t-true heart"
"You are stealing Eleanor's maid!" Alex says
"N-no, I just thought that Sister loves me and will be kind enough to let her be my m-maid. I am s-sorry I didn't mean to-" she says as she wipes away her tears, but I can see a small smirk behind her hands which no one except me notices
Wait, is she trying to plot against me! But the heroine was described as a good person...whatever I will not let her take Milli anyways
"Sister, I do love you and would have allowed you to take Milli. But she has been my personal maid since I was very young and I have formed a bond with her.
Also she has already pledged her loyalty to me so it will be difficult for her as well as for you if you keep her as a maid." I say as I look at her with 'fake' love.
"I understand that you think that Melissa will treat you nicely, but Eleanor is right, Astria." the Duke says
"I think you should just choose another one of the maids and if they mistreat you I will fire them." he says with a cold demeanor and the nearby servants shudder
"Okay father," she says, not calling him 'papa' as she usually does and continues, "I will then choose Lisa."
Chloe, Emma and Lisa are then assigned to her.

"Oof...indeed a tiring day." I think as I lay down on the bed
Orion, what do you think of Astria? Is she evil?
"Well as per the memories of your past life it is obvious for you to think of her as evil. But I have also noticed her passing glares to you during the classes today and her behavior before was also a bit unusual." he says
"Now I come to think of it, she could have just sneaked food from the kitchen but she specifically asked the head chef to give some to her, just after eating her snacks. Could she be deliberately trying to get me punished?"- I think
"You seem to be getting to the point" Orion replies
This could actually mean that she is not the real heroine, maybe she even knows the future like I do and is reincarnated!
My thoughts were really tiring me, especially after the exhausting day I had today. I had no energy to think about anything right now. So I decided to face the consequences as they come and sleep now as it was night. I was already very powerful, if something happens I will just escape,
But I don't wish to leave my family..
