Okay so first, in the airport Tayyun (not his real name) he dropped something and he goes "sh!t" and the teacher looks at him and goes "Tayyun" and so he says, "shoot, shoot, shoot, bang bang haha"

"You're making it worse" is how I replied. I haven't had any shifts. The plane ride was long but I'm good now. It's around 10am at the time I'm writing this. Yesterday when I got here I ate some gelato. The host family has three kids, Claw, Albert, and Allito(not their real names) Albert was really nice, he was making fun of the other exchange student because she spilled her gelato, but not a mean teasing, like a friendly teasing. Allito is the little brother, he's shy, while we were walking back from dinner, he fell on the ground and got back up then said " ciao" and ran off to the mom and dad. And get this. The dad's first name is Mario, and he wore red. I was like- noooo that is to Italian 😭

Claw is the girl hosting us. We watched a horror movie and then went to bed. We then slept past our alarm. Then we went to school, the teacher was just doing review problems, she was talking in Italian. I would have been fine except I didn't learn how to calculate the area of a cone yet and that was all we were doing in class. In the class there is someone from America who knew the stuff. So the host fam was like "Let him do it infront!!" and then two random boys started fighting and the teacher was like "Listen! Let's have him come up, stop fighting" (she said that in Italian). They also kept calling one of my classmates stupid, the funny thing was, they were right. Now we are going to the duomo

So it's about 5:30 now, the duomo was absolutely colosal, and really beautiful, so I donated $18usd, then we went to a castle thing after that. Something funny that happened, when one of the chaperones was talking to us someone was like "bonjurono!" And then she replied with: "I'm from Plymouth"

One of my classmates was looking at the police officers, because they have these big guns and were wearing military uniforms, so one said "Ciao" and my classmate replied with "Ciao" and after we walked a couple of meters away they were like "Omg!! We just spoke Italian to an Italian person!!" And it was so painfully obvious that we were American tourists. I not sure what is going on much because I don't speak Italian but people are funny.

If there is more I'll write more.
