Will, George, and I spent the whole day together uninterrupted, just like the old times. No paperwork or letters to write, nothing trying to take George away from us, it was a nice change. Sure, we don't know whatll happen tomorrow, but I know that I've enjoyed today.

"It's time for your nap, little pup." I say, looking at the time. He whines for a bit before yawning and agreeing to sleep. Will and I tucked him in and gave him his favourite teddy before he fell asleep.

Will and I quietly left the room and kept the door adjar. We walk to the Wills office and sit down on the small lounge he has on his wall, like a small waiting room area thing.

"So what have I missed?" I asked, recalling their reactions before when I asked the first time.

"Well. George is a demon or part demon." My eyes opened wide, and my mouth was agape.

"Not possible. I would have smelt." I say. There would be a difference, I know there would be.

"I know I was shocked, too. But when we got here, we found out sage escaped, and we ranted to one of the emergency lockdown rooms. Sage ended up being in there. There was this whole fight I won. George was outside trying to get in, afraid I'd die. Caused a huge dent in the side. Everyone was shocked. George recalled his past to dad, and dad knew a story from a while ago that matched up, so now we're pretty sure he's a demon/ half demon." I sat in shock, unsure of what to say.

"Why wouldn't I have sensed a difference between him and a human?" I questioned, trying to really process what he was saying.

"We don't know, but dads looking at some demonologist chick and I need to tell geirge about it, but every time I bring it up, he just whines and regresses rhen cries until he throws up." He explained further, leaning back and watching my expression.

"So how do we approach this?" I asked he can't handle the fact that he may be a demon. How is he a demon? He smells JUST like a human.

"I'm not too sure, but I'd say about two. Maybe three days is when dads gonna have someone here. So that's how long we have to get him to be okay with it. Dad refuses to go near him due to the story he heard about years ago.

"Well, he's obviously not ready to handle the thought of it. Will he even come out of headspace for this?" I asked. Usually, under high stress situations like these, he regresses and refuses to age up, and there's just nothing that we can do about it.

"Probably not. I heard that dad was hard on him. He's also avoiding dad. Stays behind me when dad walks by. He refuses to talk when he's around. Even at the dinner table." I hum. How did he approach it for George to be that scared.

"Let's just leave it till tomorrow. He's been having a good day today, and I want him to enjoy it before everything gets crazy again..." I trail off with a thought in mind. Something that's been a subconscious thought in the back of my mind for a little while now.

"What's wrong?" Will asks, placing a hand on my knee, worried that what I was going to say would be bad.

"I've been thinking." I begin. "What if after this whole demonologist thing, we move?" I ask. He nods, taking in my words.

"What about your pack? And my covan? We have responsibilities."

"We're not the leaders yet, and I'm sure Victor will be the pack alpha before I am. Either way, we have some years before those become too large of an issue. I don't want to go too far from the covan as Georges friends are here, and you have more effect here than I do in my pack. I'm not sure where but somewhere. I just want to settle down somewhere smaller than a mansion." I chuckle, as will joins in.

"I have an idea... but we would need it renovated, I'm not living in some shack."

"Wouldn't want it any other way. Where is it?" I ask, not knowing anywhere that's close enough.

"There's this cabin a walk. Away from here. I took George there on our first big date two years ago. It hasn't been touched for quite a while as there's just been no time, but it's far away enough that we will have our privacy but close enough for whenever George wants to go back." It sounds like a wonderful place.

"Seems like we need to get it renovated soon then. It all sounds like a plan." I smile, leaning over to kiss him on the lips. "I love you." I break the kiss.

"I love you too." He crashes his lips back onto mine. Oh, how I've missed his lips. His body, his voice. It's all just so perfect. He's perfect. I've missed him so much. I'm so glad dad made me leave.
