Chapter 7

Arabella's POV

Okay everything was in place. Drea was going to come in some minutes and her parents were already here. She didn't know that they were going to be here. I can't believe that this is actually happening. That is just so amazing. This all seems too good to be true. After a few minutes Antonio came. He looked a little pissed off but I tried not to think about it. I was talking to Drea's mom while Ana was playing with Drea's dad and Drian. Well you can say that she has them wrapped around her finger. It was so cute seeing her play with them. I couldn't help but nothing how Antonio kept looking back and forth from me to Ana every time. Okay that was weird. My phone suddenly binged signaling a text message. Oh it was Drea. I told her to text me when she gets here and she was already here. Quickly I told everyone to go and hide behind the bushes in the garden so that she don't see us. Antonio was looking at me all confused as I told him to hide. Thank God he listened to me. Leon was standing near the table with the bouquet in his hand and I could see that he was nervous. Poor Leon. "Babe," I heard Drea called from inside. Then she finally noticed that there was no one in the living room so she made her was to the door that leads to the garden. I had a clear view of her and I could see her surprised face when she saw the trail of roses. As she stepped out of the door, she saw Leon at the end of the garden and she immediately started tearing up. That was truly beautiful.

As she reached him, Leon gave her the flowers and held her hand. He kneeled down as he took the ring box out of his pocket. We couldn't hear much but I guessed he was proposing. I started to tear up too as I saw here nodding yes and Leon slipping the ring onto her finger. They started kissing and that's when we came out of the bush clapping our hands and cheering. "Mom? Dad? You guys are here," she said as she hugged them hard. I was so happy. I went to congratulate them on their engagement and hugged them tightly. Antonio was looking shocked as he congratulated them. What is wrong with this guy? Everyone was enjoying themselves and Ana was still playing with Drian. Then there was Antonio and Leon talking. It looked like they were having a serious conversation. That's when Antonio stopped talking to Leon and walked in my direction. My heart started to slam against my chest. What is happening? Why does he have to look so hot? Isn't it warmer suddenly? "Stella," he said smiling at me. Okay this is weird. Just a few minutes ago he looked like he was going to kill someone, then he looked shocked and now he is smiling. What is wrong with him? "Antonio actually my name is Arabella. Stella is my middle name," I told him. "I like calling you Stella, Miss Diaz, and I won't stop calling you that," he said. He knew, maybe he did a background check on me because I'm going to be working for him. "So Anabella is your dau-" he started but Drian called me at the same time. "Will you excuse me. I'll be right back," I said as I excused myself. He simply nodded and went to Leon.

Dinner was great and everyone was so happy for the new couple. Me and Drea's mom were talking about when Drea is going to have babies and all. I couldn't help be smile at the scenes playing in my head of Drea's future kids. I'll be the best aunt ever. The whole time, I felt the eyes of Antonio on me and I have also caught him looking at me several times. I couldn't help but blush like a teenage girl. Gosh I'm so lame. I tried to ignore his stare and continued interacting with the others. After a few hours of celebration, I decided to go home because Ana was starting to get sleepy. I asked Drea if she was coming home tonight but she told me that she was going to stay with Leon today. So I took Ana in my arms and kissed goodbye to everyone except Antonio. Yeah I just met him so I guess that would be a bit awkward. Drian offered to carry Ana but I told him it was okay. He placed a kiss on my cheek and told me to text him when I get home. I could feel Antonio's stares through me. I just ignored it and got outside and into my car.
