Chapter 21

Arabella's POV

It's been a few days since our date and us becoming official and till this day I still can't believe it. Toni would sometimes steal kiss. Honestly I love it but he doesn't have to know that. The hotel is almost done, I just have some checking to do and that is so amazing how quick those people work and how nice it actually looks. Toni has also been quite busy with his work. We see each other for the dinner when he finally gets out of work. I seriously love that I finally have a boyfriend and I'm having some new type of feelings growing in me. When he is absent, I miss him and I don't want to seem like the needy girlfriend and keep on calling him so I just sit there and try to get him out of my head.

Right now I'm sitting on the couch watching my favorite tv series Stranger Things 2 and constantly thinking of a certain someone. Sometimes I think that it's true when someone tells you never be judgmental. Once we get to know that person we realize that all the things that you heard from other people is actually just rumor. In me there is still a guilt because I know that I had a crude judgment on him at first. I have to admit that getting heard scares me so much no matter what. I mean no one deserves to be hurt. No one deserves to be ill treated by anyone. I'm happy that I have Toni as my boyfriend but giving in so quickly makes me think if that was the right decision. As usual that may be my overthinking self taking over. I know and see that Toni is an amazing person and I have more to know about him. I think I need to talk to Drea about it. Oh no wait she is on vacations, I don't think that I should disturb her now. With that thought, I tried to concentrate on the TV and not think of anything negative.

I felt something trailing from my forehead to my cheek. I don't want to open my eyes but I have to. Slowly opening my eyes, I took time to adjust to the light in the room. I saw Toni face when I finally opened my eyes. "Hi," he said smiling down at me. "Hi what time is it," I asked as I stretched. "It's ten. Sorry Stella I got caught up at work," he said and I realized that I fell asleep on the couch. "I hope you have eaten Stella," he said as I sat up on the couch. I realized that I haven't even eaten. "Yea yea I have definitely eaten," I said. I know I'm bad at lying. "Stella don't lie to me," he said looking at me with his piercing eyes. I could seriously just sit and stare at them. "I fell asleep before I could eat," I said a bit amused by his angry expression. "What are you laughing at young lady," he said and started tickling me. We goofed around for a few minutes. After that Toni cooked some carbonara which was delicious and then we both went to sleep.

Waking up at eight in the morning, I got ready for the day. Today is the last day of work and I just need to check the whole hotel and I'll be done. I have put on some casual and comfortable clothes. I mean when don't I? While getting ready, I couldn't help but stare outside. The beauty of the sky and cloud with the sun shining through is just breath taking. Pulling out my Polaroid, I captured this moment of the beauty of nature. Then I hurried downstairs to get my breakfast and head to the hotel. I got at the door of the kitchen when I saw Toni making breakfast. One thing that I have noticed about him is that he is always on time at work but today he is still here and it's almost 10 now. What is he doing here? "Good morning Stella," he said without even turning. "Good morning Toni," I said walking to him. "Slept well," he asked as he put the breakfast on the table. I nodded while admiring the delicious food in front of me. I was probably drooling too. "Well I guess someone is very hungry," he said making me blush. I didn't know that I made it that obvious. I sat down and he joined me. We started eating and I couldn't help but moaned as the mesmerizing food touch my taste buds. Everytime he cooks this happens. Does this guy have any more hidden talent? When I looked up, I saw Toni staring at me in shock. "What? Do I have something on my face," I asked wiping my face while blushing. He shook his head and went back to eat. "Anyways you are not working today," I asked him as I took in a spoonful of food. "I have something planned for us today Stella," he said making me look at him in confusion. "What plans," I asked suddenly interested in what was to come. "Well it's for you to find out," he said smirking. Oh that's how it's gonna be. "Oh come on tell me," I said with puppy eyes. In response he just closed his eyes. "I'm not gonna fall for it Stella. Have patience because it's worth it," he said and that made me smile. I scowled and we continued eating.
