The next morning I couldn't get out of bed. What was the point? I missed school a lot because of my depression and no one really seemed to notice, so what was another day?
Around two o'clock there was a knock on my door. I looked out the window and saw Steve standing on the porch. I quickly put on a shirt and ran to the door.
"Steve?"
"Hey, um, you weren't at school today and I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
"Ya, uh, I'm okay. Thanks for coming by," I said, as I tried to close the door. But it was stopped by Steve's foot. "Tony, wait. Can I please come in? I...I want to be with you."
I didn't know what to say. I simply, opened the door.
Steve walked in and I could feel my heart beginning to race again. He sat down on the couch and motioned for me to come over. When I sat down, he just stared at me, not saying a word. "What?"
