We're here to live not just survive
We're here to cherish the memories not just preserve
We're here for moments not materials
We're here to coexist not control
We're here for the hug, after a long day
We're here for the pat, after an achievement
We're here for the those little moments,
the adrenaline rush
when we see our loved ones.
At the end of the day we need that 'someone' -
To share our happiness, sorrow and nonsense.
To spend the rest of our life with
Maybe that is why we call them "better half"?
After all
We're here for someone not something.
