I once fell in love with a musician.
Met her in a bar where her band performed
I had my dinner rather slowly
pissing off the waiter as I was the last guy
immediately paid the bill and rushed out
as the band packed their gears,I casually approached her
got the courage to speak
the dialogues I had rehearsed in the table.
Fast forward few nights later,
by the bedside
she asked me to sing along with her
I hesitated
I don't remember the song
atleast hum with me
sorry I don't know.
she turned the other side and
plugged in her earphones
(which I didn't notice)The next day she didn't pick my calls,
clueless I resumed with my boring life
and wrote in my diary
"I remember every stroke of her finger
how the index finger nudged the third stringfor that reason she had her nails tidy
how she closes her eyes
everytime she ends a verse,
I know nothing about music
nor I did care
I only knew she was angelic enough
on that rotating stool
hugging her guitar like
a kid protecting her doll.
I don't remember how good the band sounded
for my senses failed to work together
when I met her"
