Y/n's POV:

"What's the problem, Tom?"

He points over and the other residents are fighting in the plaza again.

"There are residents blaming you for things"

I ran over to the plaza and overheard some things.

"I saw Y/n destroy my new flower patch! Who does that to flowers!?"

I heard Fauna yell to Marshal.

"Oh yeah? Well, she broke my table mirror and tossed the pieces into a nearby river!! How am I supposed to gaze at my beauty now!?"

Marshal said, yelling back at Fauna.

"She broke my snack jar and told me I was a glutton. . ."

Zucker said, looking at his broken jar and started to cry.

I stepped backwards to not alert the disturbed folk, but I ended up stepping on a tree branch that snapped in half.

The upset animals all looked at me and glared.

Except for Zucker.

He continued to cry.

I froze and said,

"Hey guys. Why are you all. . .arguing?"

Fauna ran up to me and grabbed me by my shirt collar in anger.

"You!! You caused us all grief!! How are you the Resident Representative when your going around, ruining everyone's island life!?"

I thought Fauna was supposed to be nice and kind, not angry and aggressive. She's so mad that she isn't even saying her catchphrase.

"I didn't!! I swear!"

I said, panicking.

She didn't let her grip loosen.

"It WAS you! You were the one destroying my lilies!!"

I continued to panic and said,

"Fauna! I'll buy you some more lily seeds! Please, let go!"

She actually let go.

"That was a test. I didn't actually have lilies. I had hyacinths. Something very suspicious is happening"

Timmy walked up to her with the Nook Phone. He showed her the same picture that he showed to Tom.

Her eyes went wide and said,

"There are two of you, Y/n!?"

I nodded.

"I need to get rid of her somehow, but I don't know how"

I said, looking down at the ground.

"Don't worry, dearie! I can help! I will keep my axe in hand if I see her!"

I looked at my outfit and said,

"She's wearing a red skirt with suspenders with a black collared shirt, devil horns, black socks, red mary Jane's, and black shorts. If you see her, try to get rid of her"

(If you want me to, I could draw concept art for the next chapter so you can get the idea of what the outfit that Y/n wears and what the evil version would look like. But only of this part gets 20 votes!! Because 1, I'm lazy and 2, I need to be motivated)

Fauna nods and grips her axe as she walks over to Marshal.

"Y/n didn't destroy your mirror. It was her evil twin!! We must stop her from wreaking havoc on the island!!"

Marshal nodded and grabbed his slingshot.

"On it!"

While Fauna and Marshal were occupied I walked over to Zucker.

"Hey, buddy. Sorry about your snacks. Here"

I pulled out a chocolate heart box that Kat's mom sent me in the mail, and gave it to Zucker.

His face lit up and said,

"Actual chocolate!? Oh Y/n!! Thank you so much!!"

He stood up and hugged me.

"Oh you precious thing"

I pat his head and he did the Bashful reaction in response.

And from this day forward, Zucker became my favorite villager.
