It was Sunday and me and my homeboys were going to the mall for some new Jordan's that just came out. We was packed in the car listening to music and chilling on the way to the mall.

"So y'all got any hoes?" My friend Dre asked

"Most definitely after the mall I'm meeting up with shorty" Javon said

"What' she look like nigga?" Dre said

"She brownskin with a fat ass and them long ass braids" Javon was explaining

I wasn't listening to them niggas forreal I just wanted to talk to Zoey. We haven't talked every since that shit at the diner.

"What about you Ke'shaun?" Dre asked

"Nah I'm cool off hoes for a while"

"Why not you look stressed" he said

"Nah I'm coo, something on my mind"

"Well talk your shit, I wanna know" Javon said

"Is it about a girl?" Dre asked

"Yuh"

"You like her or something" Dre said

"No it's not like that she more like my friend"

"Y'all don't talk no more or something?" Javon asked

"I don't even know"

"Well why don't you-"

I cut Dre off before he could say something stupid.

"I'm done telling y'all about her, let's just get these shoes and get something to eat"

We walked into the mall, it was packed whole bunch of people here. We walked fast to footlocker before everybody started making they way.

"Ight everybody split up, we gonna make this like a nigga mission" Javon said

"Nah everybody finna be up in here so let's just ask one of them workers" Dre said

I agreed with him. We walked up to the front desk and the worker was turned towards the opposite way. She had a whole lot of hair.

"Um ma'am can we get help?"

She turned around and I instantly froze. It was Zoey.

"Huh?" She said looking only at me

"Can we get three of the new Jordan 13s" Dre said

"Um.. yea sure what sizes" she said

"I need a size 10 in men's" Dre said

"Get me a 9 in men's" Javon said

Everybody looked at me and I cleared my throat.

"I need a 13 in men's"

"Okay so 10, 9 and 13 in a men's size?" She said

"Yuh" Dre said

"Okay I'll be right back" she said going into the back room

Javon and Dre looked at me like I was dumb.

"What"

"That's the girl ain't it?" Javon said

I nodded

"Why don't you just talk to her like a real nigga would" Dre said

"Nah"

"If you don't talk to her then we gonna say sum" Dre said

"Go ahead"

"Bet" Javon said

She came back with three boxes of Jordan's. She sat them down on the counter and scanned them.

"The total will be $955.00" she said looking at us

We all grabbed our money to spilt the total. She took the money.

"So what's your name?" Dre asked

"Zoey" she said counting the money

I knew what they was doing.

"Okay Zoëy"

She looked at them weird and put the shoes in separate bags.

"Do you know Ke'shaun" Javon said

She nodded and looked at me

"Why" she said

"We think he lik-" Dre said

I smacked him in the back of his neck. She laughed and handed us our bags.

"Let me talk to you real quick"

"Okay" she said

She led me to the back of the store. And I leaned against the wall looking at her.

"So look. a nigga miss his friend"

"Oh you do" she said trying to hide her smile

"Yea you don't even talk to me no more"

"It's been two days and you could've texted or called me" she said

"True, well come over to my house when you get off Ight?"

"To work on the project?" She said

"Nah we taking a break on that"

"Okay" she said

"Imma see you later"

She nodded

"Give me a hug"

She laughed and walked up to me I wrapped my arms around her and we rocked side to side.

"Now go get your money"

"And will" she walked away

I walked back over to Javon and Dre who were looking at the shoes.

"Let's go"

"See the nigga did something right, he smiling like a rat when they see cheese." Dre said

"Not him saying a rat, I'm dead" Javon started laughing

I walked out and they followed behind me laughing loud as fuck

I can't stand these niggas

Am I moving to fast with Zoey and Ke'shaun?
