Zoey's POV
The next day was Monday and I was at my locker putting my notebooks up. Ke'shaun and I don't really have many classes together so I really haven't seen him for most of the day. It was now lunch and I usually don't eat anything so I sat in my usual corner seat and listened to music.
While listening to music my phone dinged and I looked at the text I got from Ke'shaun.

I walked over to table 10 and he was sitting at the table with Javon and Dre and two other girls I didn't know. One of the girls though looked familiar he told me he had a ex that hes cool with. So that's probably her.
"Yo Zoey" Dre said making everyone look at me
Javon got up and wrapped is arms around my shoulder.
"Hey bestfriend" he said

Ke'shaun pushed him off of me and I just laughed my ass off. I love making him mad.
"You doing the most" Ke'shaun said sitting back down making room for me
I sat down beside him

"Letting him call you bestfriend what the fuck is that don't play with me" he said
I rolled my eyes and played my music back but I turned it down some.
His ex bitch kept staring at me like she wanted a picture of me.
"You got a staring problem or something?" I asked her because she was starting to piss me off

I could feel Ke'shaun's eyes on me but i had my eyes staring a hole into his ex's face.
"Last thing I heard you guys were project buddies" she laughed

"Damn Zoe ain't playing today" Dre said
He was right I just started my period and I'm not in the mood for "rErE's" mess .
"I'm not gonna argue because if I wanted him back I could surly have him again" she said
"Go ahead nobody stopping you"
"I Don't want you Rere" he said rubbing my leg under the table tryna calm me down.
She got up and left.
"Finally somebody put her in her fucking place" the other girl said
"I thought you were her friend Janae" Javon said
"I don't like her" Janae said
Ke'shaun grabbed my hand and led me outside of the lunch room.
"What's wrong?" He said looking down at me
"Nothing"
"You on your period aren't you?" He said
"How did you know?"
"I don't know I'm that Nigga I guess" he shrugged and walked back into the cafeteria
5:00pm
We was at Ke'shaun's house working on the project. So far we got the name, clothes, gender and now we have to put it on to a slide show.
We was listening to music and typing on our laptops.
"Kee?"
"Hmm?" He said
"You believe in soulmates and soul ties?"
"Yea" he said not looking up from the laptop
"Really? Do you think you got a soulmate somewhere out in the world somewhere?"
"I mean shit i don't know but I hope so"
"Imagine she was in middle school right now" I started laughing which caused him to.

"I don't believe in that soulmate stuff to be honest" I admitted

I nodded my head not saying anything else
His door opened and Brandon came in.

He smiled and hugged me knocking me down on the floor. I started tickling him and he stopped messing with me.
"How was school?"
"It was fun I learned how to talk to girls today Ke'shaun" he said
"That's Wasssup soon you gonna pulling all the girls. You wanna see all the girls that be texting me daily?" Ke'shaun said
"Yea" Brandon ran over to Ke'shaun and looked down at his phone
"Wow their pretty" Brandon said
"Hell yea" Ke'shaun said
"Y'all talking about rere?"
"Oh nah rere ugly" Brandon said
He laughed and ran towards me.
I opened my phone and me and Brandon started watching my Instagram feed.
Ke'shaun tried to come over and look at my phone but I moved it. He snatched it out of my hand.
"You got me fucked up" Ke'shaun said looking in my phone
"How you gonna take my phone?"
Ke'shaun started going thru it. I tried to snatch it but he wasn't letting me.
