We were all seated at a the table and the silence was getting annoying.

"Okay umm... so like y'all know this is Ke'shaun and basically..."

Why can't I just say everything with out stuttering

Ke'shaun grabbed my hand under the table and cleared his throat.

"It all started with the baby project.. we was just was partners for the project nothing more but soon I guess it turned into more than that. We started hanging out outside of school work and the vibes were good. I started to like her and the feeling was mutual" he looked at me and I nodded

"Everything started to get messy after the party. So there was alcohol at the party and as the 17 year olds we are, we wanted to try it. That lead to us getting drunk and then fast forward to his house. He ended up getting sick and throwing up. Soon after one thing lead to another we ended up having... sex" I stopped talking and looked at Dasha, Emoni and my momma.

"Have y'all been sexual any other times? Did y'all use protection? Are you guys together?" She said rambling

"Where's your mother? Can I talk to her?" My momma said

"Nah it's ok. My momma is a crackhead nothing less nothing more. She left us and never turned back. So no you can't talk to her" he said getting a little annoyed

"I just brought him here to clear everything up that's it"

Dasha hasn't said anything and she always had a opinion about everything.

"Okay I think I'm gonna need a few days to process everything but you can have your phone and car back" my momma said

"Really! Thank you mama! I've been miserable" I said getting up to hug my momma

"Yea yea little girl. Nice to meet you Ke'shaun. You seem like a good boy and I hope to see you around more" My momma said smiling genuinely

"Momma stop. You doing too much"

"What? I just want my daughter happy-" she said

"Okay that's enough come on Ke'shaun"

We walked up to my room and he laid down on my bed. I went into my closet and changed into one of my hoodies and some black shorts. I came out and got on my bed looking through my phone.
