Zoëy's POV

The party was tonight my sisters already scheduled a hair and nail appointment for me like it was prom. I kinda wanted to look all cute for Ke'shaun so he wouldn't be able to keep his eyes off of me.

We walked Into the hair salon and all tons of girls were either getting their hair done or eyelashes done.

"Good morning girls what can I do for y'all" a black 30 year lady asked us

"We just want a 35 inch black lace front with eye lashes for my sister Zoey"

"Okay zoëy can you go sit in that purple chair over there" the lady said

"Okay"

I walked over to the chair and sat down. The lady walked over to me with a bag of long black hair.

Oh lord

11:25 am

It's been about a hour and she still braiding up my natural hair.

"So Zoey talk to me? Your very pretty do you have a boyfriend or anything?" The lady said

"No not really"

"So you like a boy, show me a picture" she said

I showed multiple pictures of him and then us together

"Y'all are cute why don't you just date that boy" she said

"I mean you ready for a long list of reasons?"

"Yup I have all day boo" she said

"Okay one reason is I'm more "thicker" than most girls he messes with, I just don't see him wanting me"

"Whatt girl there's nothing wrong with a little extra meat" she said

"Yea and we're best friends if we don't work out being together then I don't wanna mess up our good friendship"

"I understand that one" she said

"Maybe y'all should take a chance and see where it takes y'all. You only live once you know" she explained

In the middle of our conversation Ke'shaun texted me.

I put my airpods in my ears and closed my eyes until I fell asleep.

2:00pm

"Okay she's done" the lady said

"Ouuu she looks so good" dasha said

I opened my eyes and basically everyone in the shop was in awe of my finish product. I got up and went to the bathroom not even remembering I had lashes on and my hair was done.

I used the bathroom and got up to wash my hands and when I looked at the mirror-

"Damnnnnnnn!" I screamed

I looked good like good enough to eat if you know what I mean 😏

I came out the bathroom and walked over to my sisters. We paid and went back to the house. I already had a white dress and white sandals to match.
