A month went by and everyone was depressed. Joe has been crying non stop trying to keep his head up for Brandon; his only son left on this earth. Brandon was not his funny and crazy self anymore he always cried and constantly slept in Ke'shauns room.
Dasha had her baby girl Faith Azure Smith and she moved in with her baby daddy. Emoni stayed at home along with her mom trying to comfort Zoey but she was very very depressed after losing her other half.
"Zoey! Are you up!" Her mom yelled for her
No answer
Today was her graduation day. Somehow she finished all her classes with straight A's earning the Valedictorian title at school
Zoey came out her room dressed in a royal blue dress stopping at her knees. Ke'shauns favorite color.
"You look beautiful" her mom and Emoni said at the same time
Zoey just nodded and walked out the house getting in her moms car.
"She's gonna be ok" Emoni assured her momma
"I hope"
... Once they got to the school Zoey left them to get situated on the football field.
Trinity, Dre and Javon walked up to her. They all hugged her.
"We heard about everything" Trinity started crying
Zoey pushed all of them off of her.
"Stop with the fucking act! Y'all didn't care about him!" She screamed
They all looked at her shocked
"We're sorry for everything Zoe" Javon said
"You know what don't talk to me just leave me the fuck alone. That's the best y'all could do" she shoved past them and sat in her seat
20 minutes later
"Welcome everyone to our 2021 graduation" everyone applauded and Zoey just sat their emotionless
She was ready for this all to be over. The principal kept talking.
"Okay before we announce our graduates can our Valedictorian please come up" he said staring at me
"Zoey Smith!" He said
She got up and walked to the front everyone was yelling and clapping.
"You'll be fine" he mumbled to her and sat down
She stepped up to the mic and instantly began tapping her foot out of nervousness.
"Um.. I'm Zoey Marie Smith one of the many graduates... These four years has been Rough for me. From being an outcast, meeting someone who mentally and physically absused me and then meeting the love of my life Ke'shaun Jackson... he also went here but he-" she stopped and looked at the clear clouds trying her best not the cry
"He recently passed away.. after that I mentally can not be happy ever again.. he was their for me through everything... he loved me like nobody else could and he fought for me til the end but I just wanna say to everyone here don't take anything for granted always live like it could be your last time seeing someone or even being on this earth... We all made great memories and I hope that all of you progress and live your best lives.. congratulations Ke'shaun Jackson we did it I love you so much baby... and to all of us 2021 graduates as well" everyone screamed and she went back to her seat wiping away her fallen tears

The principal started announcing everyone's names. She was toward the end but the principal was being quick with it.
"Our valedictorian Zoey Marie Smith and Ke'shaun Jackson!" She walked up with a big picture of Ke'shaun and she shook the principal's hand grabbing both diplomas
The crowds went wild which generally brought a smile to her face.
