"Momma!" I yelled

"What girl" she said

"Why can't I go see Ke'shaun. Even if he's not awake he needs me there"

The hospital still haven't called and told me nothing so for all I know he's still in the coma.

"You need a break for yourself zoey. You can go back next week" she said

Next week! Hell nah

I ran downstairs to where she was in the kitchen.

"Momma, I'm going"

She turned and gave me The look.

"Zoey Marie Smith. Your not going to the hospital until next week now go somewhere and get the fuck out of my face" she said with a stern voice

"Okay" I walked to my room and slammed the door.

I grabbed my overnight bag and opened my window. It was dark outside so I grabbed my pocket knife and pepper spray. I jumped out my window and closed it.

I decided to just to take the bus because I was not about to get caught using my car. I finally made it to the city bus stop. Trust me I was terrified but It's been almost 5 days since I've seen Ke'shaun.

"Hey" a deep voice caught my attention

I just ignored the strange man.

"You not gonna answer me?" The man said

"Please don't talk to me, I will literally kill you" I said as calm as I could

"You gonna kill me. Hmm" he said sitting beside me

I slid over away from him.

"So how you been?" He asked

"Peachy"

He laughed and for a second I thought I recognized the laugh but I just didn't wanna fall for some murder shit.

I looked over at him and he had crutches. It was dark so I couldn't see his face.

"You gonna stay wit me tonight?" The man asked

"What the fuck wrong with you" I got up and grabbed my stuff

I was just gonna go back home and use my car.

"Where you going" he asked

"To get my gun"

"You don't got no gun Zoey" he said

How does he know my name

"Yup that's my cue"

I started walking but he pulled my arm making me instantly smack his face.

"Damn" he said letting me go

I instantly regretted it once I saw who it was.

Ke'shaun

"Zoey Marie why the fuck would you hit me that hard" he said

I was frozen and my heart was beating so fast.

"Hello! You can't hear me Marie" he said

"Ke'shaun?" I said barely over a whisper

His face instantly turned soft once he saw the tears in my eyes.

"What's wrong mama" he asked

"Am I dreaming or did I die" I said

He laughed

"No" he said

"Your really awake?"

I walked up to him and we was a inch away from eachother. We stared at eachother.

"You gonna get me a kiss or you just gonna sit there" he said tilting his head in confusion

I didn't want to hurt him so I gave him three pecks on his lips.

"Bruh Zoey" he said sternly

"Hmm?"

"We haven't seen nor touched eachother in maybe a little more than a month and you giving me those small ass kisses" he said

"I'm not tryna hurt you"

He rolled his eyes. He gripped my neck and pulled me closer.

"You think you can hurt me?" He whispered in my ear

"Yea"

"Nah" he said smashing our lips together. It started off slow and romantic but then it started to get messy and fast. Backing away from him I pulled on his bottom lip.

"God damn girl" he said shaking his head

"I missed you" I said giving him a hug

"I missed you too" he said smacking my ass

I smacked his ass and he smacked mines harder.

"Stop fucking playing wimme" he said letting go

"Stop touching me then"

"Bet"

I laughed

"Where we about to go because I just snuck out of my house"

"We going to mine and why you sneaking out Marie" he said while we started walking to his house

"Because my momma wasn't tryna let me come and see you"

He didn't say nothing. I grabbed his hand and intertwined our fingers.

"I'm sorry" I admitted

"For?" He said kissing the back of my hand

"Everything. My ex and not telling you everything he was doing"

He nodded his head

"And I know it's my fault that you got shot" I whispered

He stopped walking and looked deeply in my eyes.

"Baby it's not your fault. You know why?" He said wiping my tears

"Why?"

"Because I would die a million times over again for you to still be alive on this earth" he said

"And I would do the same for you so don't say that" I said pouting

He leaned down and kissed me.

"You cold?" He asked

"Yea"

He took of his coat and wrapped it around me.

"Thank you bubba"

"I love you" he said looking at the sky

"I love you more"
