lando had no time to even question why she already knew what questions he was going to ask when his phone informed him of a incoming face time call.
he picks up and sees her grinning laying on stomach on her bed, summer looks at lando and lets out a giggle, his eyes look confused but his mouth is curled up in a grin, it looked a bit weird but he managed to pull it off.

"how was your day?" the boy asks the blonde
"it was great! on my way to work i came across this adorable cat, it was brown isnt that the cutest? and on my way back i saw a brown dog, why are brown dogs so much more common that brown cats? that actually ridiculous" while she goes on and on about her day lando just smiles at the girl, completely forgetting about how he is a f1 driver, millions of people following his every move and just feels normal. she is his normal.

she eventually asks him the same question apologising for not asking earlier and getting off topic.
"dont worry about it, i like listening to you" lando reassures summer
"it was a good day, a podium. for you." he needs to bite his lip to hold back the grin as he sees a deep red blush coating summers cheeks.
"you did so well im so so so proud of you"
summer truly cant describe how proud she is of him. shes been watching him ever since he got into professional racing and he has improved a shit ton.

lando can see summers eyes getting heavy and he knows shes tired.
"go to sleep sunshine, i'll be right here when you wake up, plug your phone in the charger first though."
"smartass" she mumbled before she doses off immediately after her head hit her pillow.
lando looks at her peacefully sleeping, thats what he wants for her. no more stress.

when lando wakes up to his alarm he quickly shuts it off not wanting to wake summer. shes all wrapped up in her white blanket and her blonde hair is spread all over her pillow, she looks as beautiful as ever. he smiles at his phone screen when he sees her eyes fluttering open
"good morning sleeping beauty" he jokes
"morning prince charming, wait no who is the prince of sleeping beauty? does she even have a prince? let me google it." he bites his lip as her face becomes blurry because she exited the app.
"oh my god, its prince phillip" her face pops back up and he sees her lip in between her teeth. "stop that" he whispers, its driving him insane.
"his initials are pp, pee pee" she lets out a loud laugh and explodes in fits of laughter.
"youre weird"
"i know, go prepare yourself for your flight! ive got to get dressed, im going to the forest with ash" she laughs excitedly making his stomach doing flips.
she looks at him and smiles, hes so pretty. "have a safe flight love" she tells at him nervous to see his reaction to the nickname. "thank you princess, be careful in the forest okay?"
the bid their goodbyes and each get ready for the day with a smile on their lips
