Chapter 9:: Temporary Feelings

Author's POV: 

"Ah... did we reach Bali yet?!" You asked yawning as Taehyung looked at you saying, "Not yet." 
"When will we reach?!" You asked as he replied, "We just got on the plane 15 minutes ago. Have some patience, will you?" You sighed and started reading the comic in your hands as Taehyung sighed. 

2 days passed by swiftly. You both had many bickering moments and some friendly moments. And of course, chaos with the family. 

"Jin Hyung is so busy... I wish to see him after this trip." Taehyung whispered to himself staring outside the window. He was busy admiring the sky until he felt lightweight on his shoulder. Frowning, he looked beside him to see you sleeping on his shoulder.
"Y-Y/Nsshi?" He asked in a soft tone, but seeing you sleeping ever so peacefully, he sighed. He took the comic away from your hands and carefully kept it on the table in front of you before noticing your face. 

Your eyes closed, a few hair strands falling on your face as your lips formed into a slight pout in your sleep. Looking at your lips closely, he remembered how you kissed him on your wedding day. A sudden feeling of an electric shock gushed through his body as he stared at you. His hands made their way to your hair, tucking them behind your ears as he got a better view of your face. 

A soft smile appeared on his face as he stared at you, admiring you. He realized that the feeling of hatred he had for you when he met you for the first time was just a fleeting feeling that passed by as he got to know more of you. As they say, 'The first sip might be bitter, but the next ones taste better.' 
But the feelings he was feeling right now, he wasn't sure if they were just fleeting or for real this time. 
"Am I about to get into trouble?" Taehyung asked himself, knowing well about what he was starting to feel. 

Agreeing to the marriage, admiring you at times, putting up with your silliness, finding your most useless talks fun, thinking about you often, feeling different every time he was near you... this wasn't simply respect and admiration, was it? 

He looked away, resting his head on the chair as you were peacefully sleeping on his shoulder. Closing his eyes, he tried to get a good rest. 

---Time skip

Feeling like someone was shaking you, you yawned waking up to see Taehyung looking at you.
"Get up, now! We're here." He said as you gasped saying, "Huh? In 5 minutes?!" 
"It's been 3 hours," Taehyung said. You looked at him in disbelief and said, "How come? I slept so well for 3 hours?" 
"Yeah, so good that my shoulders hurt." He said as you realized you had been sleeping on his shoulder.
"You should've woken me up.." You said as he said, "I'm not that heartless." 

You smiled a little as he got up taking down the luggage saying, "Let's go. Help me carry these small bags, till we reach the hotel." You nodded taking the bags and following him out. 

--At the hotel 

"Sir, we're sorry but there is only one vacant room." The receptionist said as Taehyung sighed saying, "But, I definitely booked 2 rooms!" 
"Well, Mr Kim called us and said one room was enough so... we rented out the other one." The receptionist said. You and Taehyung looked at each other before looking away.
"Should we go to another hotel then?" Taehyung asked as you said, "Let's just put up with this. We're married anyway, what's the use of this?"
"Isn't it you who is uncomfortable sleeping near me?" He asked. 

"Well.. we don't have any option left. And I can't bear to carry the bags again." You said as Taehyung mumbled, "You only carried them for 5 minutes. Anyway, give us the keys." The receptionist gave you both the keys as the staff helped you carry the luggage and bags.
