Tying Up Loose Ends || SKZ FanFic

Chapter One

1 year and 6 months later..

"- And do you have your medication? You know how your headaches get when you don't take them" Mrs Lee said as Felix sets down the last box with a sigh.

"Yes. I have everything, and all the reminders are on my phone. Stop worrying so much-" Felix was cut off with his mother pulling him into a bone crushing hug. He smiled a bit as he hugged her back before he pulled away.

"Mom i'll be okay" He tries to reassure her but she just shook her head.

"Why couldn't you just do online courses? There's no need to move into these dorms. Do you know how many things could happen to you??" She pointed out with her hands on her hip and her voice was firm. On cue, Mr. Lee came in with two suitcases and puts them next to the empty bed.

"She's right son. There's really good programs online, you know how unsafe these places are. You know i know lots of lawyers who took online classes" Mr. Lee said.

Felix almost winced as his parents small lectures, and even more when his father pointed out lawyer. Felix sighed and gave them an awkward smile.

"And you cant miss your physical therapy, if I get a call saying you skipped it, im taking your phone away" Mr. Lee crossed his arms over his chest and gave his son a stern look.

Felix couldn't help but sigh at his parents. They can be so overbearing but there's not much Felix can do, his parents do pay his phone bill so technically they can just take it whenever.

"I promise I won't skip it" He reassured him, his parents both gave him a smile and pulled him into another hug. Felix melted in their arms and hugged them back. He knows how they can be and with everything that happened, he doesn't blame them for acting the way they do.

They pulled away and Felix stuffed his hands in his pockets. They bid him goodbye and left him alone in the room. And it finally felt like he could breathe without having someone constantly checking on him.

He looked at the boxes with his name written on them and he scratched the back of his neck.

"Maybe I packed too much.." He mumbled before he started to unpack everything and settled in. He knows he has a roommate, seeing that there's already some stuff in the dorm that were definitely not his.

So he spent the next two hours setting up everything. And once he finished he huffed and sat on his bed. He grabbed his phone to see if he had any notifications but it was their blank.

Felix couldn't help but frown a little bit what did he expect? He doesn't have any friends, and it wasn't a personal decision, it's just his parents haven't let him go out at all and him being in the hospital most of the time. Right now his best friend is his doctor.

So Felix made a mental note.

'I'll try to make friends in at least one of my classes'.

~Meanwhile~

"So i heard that this year Mr. Decaen is actually letting in new students" Hyunjin said, Minho rolled his eyes as he kept scrolling through his phone.

"He says that every year, it never happens" Minho pointed out. Hyunjin's shoulders slumped as his flicked Minhos shoulder, which resulted him to quickly back away from him and hide near Seungmin.

"I'm too tired right now, i'll get you later" Minho grinned at the boy as Seungmin sighs.

"Jeez stop threatening him so much, you traumatized the poor boy" Changbin said as he approached the table with Chan and Jisung following behind him with  the food they ordered.

"I don't threatened him. i simply say things aggressively that's all" Minho shrugged and puts his phone away to help the others.

They were all currently sitting inside of a Mcdonald's, (Jeongins choice not theirs)

"Anyways...Mr. Decaen was serious this year, let's just hope they're good" Hyunjin said as he reached for the fries

"I don't want to go back to school, i get so stressed out so easily" Jeongin frowned then whines when Chan ruffled his hair.

"You're smart, you just leave everything last minute, and plus you have all of us to help you" Chan reassured him. Jeongin gave the older a smile before they all started eating and fell into a comfortable conversation.

"Or you can just cheat" Jisung grinned, but then yelped out in pain when Changbin smacked him upside his head.

"What was that for?!" He yelled as he rubbed his head.

"Stop giving him ideas!" Changbin scolded him as the others laughed.

It's been like this for the past year, none of them have has left each other alone. And they grew quite comfortable in each other's presents.

They all soon finished eating and cleaned up their mess before leaving the restaurant.

"Alright are we still getting breakfast tomorrow in the morning?" Seungmin asked the others as they all walked to their cars.

"I'm in"

"Yeah i guess"

"As long as you're paying"

"Just wake me up"

"Of course"

" Do i have to go?"

"Yes Minho you have to go"

And with that.

They all went their separate ways and went home.
