4.What is happening

Mew's pov

I feel my brain is stop functioning. I am numb right now. What is all this happening here?!?!
First my mom's unexpected visit, then she brought king kirin's old letter which he wrote to my father years back. And in that letter he was talking about my marriage with king kirin's daughter who never exists. And now my mom ask prince gulf's hand in marriage with me!?!? I dont know what to react anymore.

"Gulf son say something" my mom ask prince gulf as he is not answering may be he is also shocked like me.

I think now its time for me to say something as i was quiet from starting.
"Mom what are you saying how can i marry him??are forgetting we want a queen for our kingdom!!" I say with little irritation.

Now eveyrone is looking at me "mew dont you want to marry gulf??" My mom ask and everyone watch me with curiosity "mom how can i marry him he is a man how can he be a queen?!?" I almost repeat my sentence and look at everyone when my eyes fall on prince gulf i saw some unknown emotions in his eyes i dont know what is it but there were never there before.

"Mew what's the problem of him being man??" My mom almost yell at me "you only says na that you want someone strong and supportive and who will love your kingdom the same way you do who will respect the people from your kingdom.the qualities you want in your queen are all present in gulf then what's the problem huh?!" She added

She is right prince gulf have everything which i want in my queen.

I don't know what to say so i do what i think i should do "prince gulf will you marry me??" I ask but its seems like am proposing him.

He look at me with shocked expression and then look at my mother and his parents before keeping his head low.

What is this??what its mean!?! I look at king kirin to know if he understands."gulf baby do you mind marrying mew??" King kirin ask him the same question and he motion his head as No.

"Wow gulf that means you are going to marry my mew that you dont have any problem marrying him?!?" My mom ask with excitement.

He look up and smile at mother before saying something which we haven't thought about "queen thanya i dont have any problem marrying prince mew but as he said am a man and i cannot give a heir to your kingdom" the smile and excitement was on my mom's face is disappear immediately after hearing him and she touch her forehead before saying "i was so excited for their marriage that i forgot this big thing. We are royals we need a heir. And being a man gulf can't give is heir. How can i forget this thing" she said with sad tone.

Noone say anything. The room is filled with silence. Everyone is in deep thinking. In between this i saw king kirin and queen sia talking something through eyes. Thinking it must be this topic i ignore it and shift my gaze towards prince gulf who is sitting with his head low.
I feel that he is upset about something because as much as i know him he is always smiley but now he is looking like he will cry anytime.

As i was looking at prince gulf a voice get my attention
