Adrien scoffs after his father told him he'd be going to Chris's pool party with his dreadful half-sister. He glares over at the girl who is standing beside him. He didn't want to go anywhere her! And he also couldn't believe Chris didn't invite him!

"So my childhood friend is having a pool party and invited my half-sister but not me? Wow, that's so fair of him." Adrien rolls his eyes.

"You know perfectly well Chris doesn't know you have a sister, Adrien, stop being childish." Gabriel told his son.

"Childish? I don't want to go to a pool party with her!" Adrien points over at Celine, who frowns at his words. "She's not even apart of this family! I don't understand why you don't just send her to live with her own kind!"

"ADRIEN!"

The boy flinched at his father's loud yell.

"Do not speak about Celine like that. Apologize to her!" Gabriel demanded. "And it'd better sound sincere."

Adrien huffs and turns to Celine, putting on the best empathetic look he could. "I'm sorry, Celine, that was too far."

"It's okay, I forgive you." Celine tells him.

"Both of you go do your homework in your rooms." Gabriel instructs.

The minor pair nodded and left the atelier, heading upstairs.

"Look, Adrien," Celine spoke up, and Adrien stopped. "I know you don't like me but I really think we should try to get along. We're brother and sister."

"Don't like you? Don't like you?" Adrien angrily turns to her. "Celine, I HATE you."

Celine's mouth opened in disbelief at his words.

"Do you know that at some nights, I hear my father in his room crying? Over YOUR mom?" Adrien comes down the steps, advancing on Celine, causing her to back away. "When my mom died, he barley did that! He never even shed a tear at her funeral! But I bet he did at yours, huh?"

"Adrien-" Celine yelps as she stumbles on a step.

"Don't call my name, don't call me your brother, because we're only half-related, and DON'T talk to me!" With that, Adrien stormed off upstairs, slamming his bedroom door.

Celine's eyes filled with tears, then she burst out crying and ran upstairs to her room, slamming her door.

Meanwhile, Gabriel was eavesdropping from the crack of his office door, witnessing everything.
