Chapter Four - "Don't tell me you are anorexic"

AVA

"Alexis these are your new brothers" he said while looking at a wide eye Lexi. "Boys introduce yourselves".

"Hi my name is Damien. I'm the oldest and I'm 23 years." Damien said. Another boy came towards Lexi and said "I'm Dimitri. I'm the second oldest and am 21 years." Another came forward "hey, am James. Am the older twin and 17 years." Another boy that looks like James came forward "hey, am Justin the younger twin and also 17 years." That's why they look alike I thought. And the last boy came forward "hey, I'm Daniel and I'm 15 years." They all said while smiling at Lexi.

"Hi my name is Alexis but you can call me Lexi. I'm 11 years and am also a twin." Lexi said while beaming at them. They all turned their attention to me. Probably realizing Lexi wasn't the only girl standing. I blushed because of all the attention aimed at me. "Hi m..my name is Ava and I'm also 11 years." I said while looking at the floor. One thing I learned from John is to never look into a person eyes while speaking to them.

It was silent for some time when they continue to stare at me before David broke the silence. "Daniel can you show Lexi and Ava their rooms." Daniel grinned and carried Lexi's suitcases and started walking towards the stairs with Lexi beside him while I follow behind them.

We passed several doors before we came to a purple door with the name Alexis and opened it. "Wow, is this my room" Lexi asked. The room was big, the walls were painted in colour purple. There was a king size bed in the middle of the room, if you go further into the room and there was a study table beside the bed and opposite the bed was a makeup table. There were two doors, one I think a bathroom and the other a closet.

(A/N: sorry am not good at describing things. Just bear with me)

"Thank you so much. This room is amazing." Lexi said to Daniel while exploring the room. "I'm glad you like it." Justin said while smiling at her. "Let's go and show you your room" Daniel told me while exiting Lexi's room and I quickly followed him.

I followed him to a door in colour white without my name on it like Lexi's door. "This is your room" he said while pointing at the door and then left without a word. I stepped inside the room with my suitcase and then closed the door. The room wasn't as big as Lexi's room but was still big. Everything in the room was painted in white. There was a king size bed like Lexi's and a study table beside it. Opposite the bed was a makeup table. I went to the first door I saw and opened it, It was a bathroom. Much like the room, everything in the bathroom was painted in white. There was a wash basin, a toilet seat a shower stall and a tub. I went to the second door and was surprised to see a walk in closet. I went out of the walk in closet and went back to the room. I sat on the fluffy bed and started thinking about my life.

In not less than 24hrs, my stepdad died and I found out that my real dad took in my sister and I in his home and that I didn't have one or two brothers but five older brothers and a new stepmom.

I came out of the room and decided to go to Lexi's room. I stepped inside and found her talking with Daniel. I think he went back to her room when he showed me my room. Both of them looked at me when I entered. "Well, I'll come and call you both for dinner" Daniel said while stepping out of the room and closing the door behind him.

"Hi" I said to Lexi while going to seat on her bed. "Hey" she replied "how are you" we both said together. When we realized what we did, we giggled. "Well, I can't say for now but I already like it here. I always wanted a brother and now I have five older brothers" she said while smiling "and my new room is amazing. Can you imagine I have a bathtub in my bathroom. A f-king bathtub!" She said while grinning at the beginning and screaming at the end. I grimaced at the F word she said. "Can you stop saying the F word. You know I don't like it" I said while frowning at her choice of word "oh sorry" she said.

"Do you miss John" I asked her after a moment of silence. "Yes. But not like a few hours ago Daniel uplifted my mood." She said while lying down on her bed.

"Do you like him-like as a brother" I asked her "yeah he's funny, kind and fun to be around with. But I can't say for the rest cause I haven't had a conversation yet. What about you, do you like him as a brother" I thought about what I should say "well, I can't say for now cause I haven't had a conversation with him and the rest"

After a few minutes, the door opened and Justin came inside "come on dinner is ready" he told the both of us. Lexi and I stood up and followed him out of the door. We came downstairs with Justin holding Lexi's hand while they converse with each other and I quietly followed behind them.

We stepped in side the dinning room and found everyone else already waiting for us. Daniel sat down beside Dimitri who was facing James and beside James was my new stepmom-who I still didn't know her name yet who was facing Damien. At the head of the table was David. I went and sat down beside Daniel so I was facing Lexi and beside Lexi was Justin who was facing Daniel.

(For those of you who are confused)

When we all sat down, the maids brought different varieties of foods. My mouth almost watered at the sight. They started placing foods according to your age. They placed Lexi's food before mine. 'How did they know Lexi was older than me' I thought to myself. I just shrugged and looked at my food. It was pasta.

I looked around the table and saw everyone have started eating. I continue to look at my food waiting for permission to eat. "Don't tell me you are anorexic and you want to lose weight" I looked up from my food to see James looking at me with a disgusted look on his face. "James behave" David warned him. "Ava, are you anorexic" David asked, I shook my head "if you are not then eat your food" he told me and continue eating his food. I took that as a sign and started eating my food.
