Chapter Twenty Two - Pee on it

Ava's pov

"Have you decided on what extra curricular activity you wanna choose" Chloe asked immediately the bell rang at 3:00pm, signaling the end of the day.

"I don't know yet, which one are you gonna join?" I asked putting my stuff in my bag.

"I'm gonna choose arts, you can choose a sport if you want to" Chloe said and we left the classroom together.

"What type of sports do this school have"

"Well, we have basketball, volleyball, track and field, swimming and gymnastics." She said counting on her fingers.

"There's gymnastics?" I asked surprised.

In my old school, we didn't have gymnastics as a sport and I usually go to a gymnastics studio, but I didn't go again three years after my mom's death because my stepdad said he couldn't afford to pay the tuition.

"Yeah. I'm guessing that's what you wanna do right" Chloe says answering my question.

"Yep" I reply popping the 'p'.

"But you have to choose more than one activity." Chloe says sitting on the bench outside where students wait for their parents or for the school bus.

"What. Why?" I whined sitting down too.

Chloe laughed "I don't know but that's the school rule."

"Ugh. But how can you choose more than one activity when we all practice at the same time?" I asked confused.

"I don't know but Mr George is gonna explain it more tomorrow."

"Ok. Who's gonna pick you up?" I asked looking at the cars coming in through the gate and then going out.

"My driver. What about you"

"I don't know, but I think it's my brother."

"There's my car" Chloe said pointing at a black fancy car.

"Bye. See you tomorrow" she stood up picked up her bag and left.

"Bye!" I waved at her and she waved back.

After a while I saw a car that looked like James and Justin's car drive into the school. I was correct because the car parked at the parking lot and Justin came out looking around.

I stood up and went towards the car. Justin saw me and rolled his eyes. I masked the hurt expression from my face and went to the back seat. I opened the door and saw Daniel at the other side using his phone and James behind the wheels. He looked up from his phone when he heard the sound of the door opening with a smile on his face, but when he saw that it was me the smile vanished from his face replaced by a scowl.

I sat by the door far away from him and kept my bag on the floor. "Hey!" I looked at James when he said that and he was glaring at me. I gulped. "Where the hell is Lexi" he said still glaring at me "I.. I don't know" I say in a small voice looking away from his eyes.

"What do you mean you don't? Didn't you come out of the school together" before I could say anything Justin interrupted, "hey, Lexi is coming" James glared at me a little and turned away.
