The next day came sooner than I expected. Tatum came home late last night so I didn't get the chance to tell her what all happened. I knew she'd be shocked though.

I woke up with a new feeling in my stomach. Not the feeling of sorrow and heartbreak that I'd felt for the last few weeks. Now I was feeling butterflies. After yesterday's talk, I couldn't help but see Paige in a new light. It was clear we had feelings for each other...I've never fought so hard to be with someone...She was like a drug, bad for me...but oh how great she made me feel. Maybe she'd turn into something good because right now I was addicted.

I wore a smile on my face the entire time I was getting dressed. Paige didn't say where we were going but she did say to not wear jeans. I opted for this yellow dress Tatum bought me when we last went to the mall together. Yes, it was the beginning of November but a bad bitch never rests.

"And where are you going?" Tatum asks crossing her legs. She took a minute to look me up and down before looking at me suspiciously. "You're going on a date," she says before I can even answer. I didn't know how she got that from my outfit alone. "If you're wondering how I guessed, you're always in sweatpants so clearly you're dressing to impress right now" she states making me roll my eyes. She was right but that's not the point. "when I told you to get over Paige I wasn't expecting so soon, my goodness" she says making me look to the side. "It's with Paige isn't it" she nearly jumps out her skin. This girl was putting things together faster than I could think of a reaction.

"What happened to you being heartbroken!?" She yells. I laugh a little. "She came over yesterday and we talked it out. Carlos said something to her about me like you said" I sigh. She sits down shaking her head. "I'm sorry babe. He really tried to destroy the little happiness you had" She gently smooths my hair with her hand.

I give Tatum a quick explanation of what was said yesterday. Paige would be here in like 10 minutes so I didn't get the time to talk to her like I wanted to. She looked to understand where I was coming from.

"As long as you're happy, Paige really seems like she cares about you so if you like it I love it," she says making me smile. Having her approval meant everything to me. Tatum and my sister were all I had here so seeing her so happy to support me felt great. "Thank you TayTay" I pull her into a hug. She hugs me back before pushing me away. "Now go have fun and don't do anything you wouldn't want me to know about" she states. I roll my eyes laughing a bit. Right as I got up Paige texted me she was outside.

I mumbled a quick prayer to myself in hopes that nothing would go wrong. When I got to the car Paige was already waiting to open my door. "How chivalrous of you," I say making her laugh. She bows jokingly before closing my door and walking to the driver's side. She gets in the car and reaches into the backseat. She pulls out a bouquet of (f/f) making me smile. "Paige you didn't have to" I cheese taking the flowers from her. They were wrapped in (f/c) paper and I absolutely adored them. "But you deserve flowers, especially after all I put you through" she shrugs. I couldn't stop smiling.

She really was trying to make amends. "Well I appreciate them, how'd you know my favorite flower?" I asked curiously. "Had to do a little research" she winks. I roll my eyes at her. She most likely asked my sister.

The car ride was nice, I wanted to question where we were going but decided not to. As Paige drove we talked about different things we liked such as music and places. She ended up telling me about all her siblings and what it was like growing up in Minnesota. Being a kid from California hearing about how cold Minnesota was almost gave me a heart attack. I get cold when the wind blows I couldn't imagine living anywhere where it's constantly cold.

Being in Connecticut was already a struggle. Now Cali wasn't always hot but it was never anywhere near as cold. "So you mean to tell me you've never played in the snow until you moved here," Paige says shocked. "Well I don't know if you knew this but California doesn't get snow" I pat her arm sarcastically. She rolls her eyes. "Don't be dumb Brady" she sasses. "I don't think it was me being dumb, but okay" I laugh.

After a little while longer she stops the car. I looked around realizing we were in the middle of nowhere. "So you decided to kidnap and kill me for our first date?" I joke. "If I wanted to kidnap you I would've done it a while ago" she smiles. I couldn't help but smile back. We stared at each other for what felt like an eternity before Paige spoke again. "Anyway, follow me," She says getting out of the car. I get out following close by her side as she leads me through a bunch of trees. I was skeptical at first but the more we walked the more I started to get an idea of where we were.

"This is so beautiful Paige" I had the biggest smile on my face. "I knew you'd like it," she says rubbing her hands together. I laugh a little. She brought me to a lake surrounded by a bunch of flowers. "I came here a lot during breaks because it's so peaceful." she puts her hands in her pockets looking away. I was flattered she wanted to bring me to a place that meant so much to her as a first date. "Well thank you P" I reach my hand out for her to take. She accepts the offer leading me to a picnic table a little ways off.

"Now I know you're picky, so I didn't do too much" She rolls her eyes. I roll my eyes right back because I am not picky but right now wasn't the time to argue. I was seriously at a loss for words. I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this. "Well don't just stand there like an idiot, sit down" she sassed. Okay, moment over. I shoved her arm before taking a seat. I wonder how long this took her. "You must really like me" I tease. I could see the red creeping across her face. She smiled looking away for a second. "I thought it was made clear that I liked you," She asks. I shrug. "I don't know I couldn't tell" I was just messing with her. The way she showed up at my house yesterday was enough to show me how much she really cared about me.

Paige could see right through my bullshit, she laughed before taking a strawberry and eating it. "Well, I guess I'll have to prove to you even more that I'm head over heels." She laughed. The last thing I was expecting was for Paige to lean in and connect her lips with mine. Instinctively I pulled her closer, I could taste the freshly bitten strawberry on her lips. I felt her smile into the kiss before pulling away. "How about now?" she cocked her head to the side, a giant grin adoring her pretty face. I could do nothing but hide my face in my hands and giggle. She'd managed to fluster the hell out of me. She pulls my hands away from my face before leaning in for another kiss. She must've been trying to kill me but I wanted it just as bad as she did.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't dream of this moment. I've had more wet dreams about Paige than I'd ever admit to. This time when she pulled away I had to stop myself from eating her alive. "I wasn't expecting that" I admit. "Me neither" she giggled. She acts as if she wasn't the one who kissed me. I intertwine my fingers with hers. "I could get used to this you know" I sigh. "Well i'd hope so because i'm not letting you go anymore" She states almost firmly. There was still a little hint of uncertainty in her voice but then again who knew. There's no telling what we'd face in the future, but for now i'm glad she had no intentions on letting me get away.
