Mrs. Jeon has been invading her son's privacy by hiring secret agents to stalk and take photos of him. A voice recording that's already been sent in to the police, recorded by a younger Jungkook himself, reveals that Mrs. Jeon caused a major car accident when Jungkook was 16. In the recording you can clearly hear her say that she hired another truck to crash into another vehicle, and that she didn't know Jungkook was in the car. Jungkook has decided to keep the identities of the people involved in the accident hidden, and the police have arrested Mrs. Jeon for attempted murder and harassment.
