Nick's P.O.V
It was the longest four minutes of my life. Susan's life was hanging by a thread.
I begged and pleaded.
"Please, please, please. Don't take her away. Blame me. She's the innocent one. Punish me."
I held onto her hand, hoping to feel her move again.
I want to see her smile again, brightly like the sun. I want to hear her laughter ringing in my ears like bells. I want her hair to blow in the breeze like a halo of an angel. I want to hear her smooth voice like roses. I want the carefree woman, someone who I want to spend the right of my life with.
Please, don't take her away so soon.
Tears running down my cheeks as I cried for Susan. I made an awful mistake, I caused a sin. My foolishness caused me to lose the one thing to make me whole again.
