I changed to PAST TENSE instead of present TENSE cause it's easier to write. Oh and when this book is finished, I'll edit everything to make it neat.

The colours of the forest melted together, being replaced by new ones I couldn't quite identify. After a couple of seconds I blinked my eyes. The sight in front of me made me let out a big gasp.

I was standing on dark red grass, filled with beautiful black tulips, roses and all kinds of other flowers. I looked next to me to see Blue standing on a rather bright green piece of grass. It was filled with color full flowers.

My gaze shifted in front of me, where there was a beautiful house, wait no, MANSION! Again, half of it was black while the other half that was positioned on the green grass was white.

It had Windows, revealing some of the inside furniture. And you guessed it, the inside was also divided in black and white, like evil and good. "Uhm, guys?" Quinn's voice interrupted my thoughts.

My eyes snapped over to his:"Yes?"

He stepped forward, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "This," he started, nodding his chin towards he mansion. "Is you're parents house."

My jaw dropped open and the last reminders of earlier today crumbled out of my mind, sliding towards a forgotten corner where I knew they would haunt me at night. He started walking towards it, not daring to touch the green grass.

I followed his example while Blue stepped on the bright green grass. The mansion became bigger and bigger, along with my eyes.

"Come on." Quinn interrupted the silence stepping in front of the door. He pressed the red button on the door before sticking his thumb to the scanner.

The doors slid open with a small beep. Quinn didn't hesitate before walking into the hall, again black and white. Blue and I followed his example, though we did hesitate.

The hallway was huge, dark themed paintings on one wall, light themed ones on the other. The crystal hangers on the roof were also black and white, fitting in with everything else.

My mind wandered off. Was this really the place I grew up In? It did seem like it. The place felt so... Familiar.

My heart raced as we entered the living room. Two figures were sitting there, their heads in their hands. There was a man, wearing a black suit, a white button up shirt and a black tie sitting on the black sofa. Opposite of him says woman wearing a white dress that stopped till above her knees, though it flowed to the bottom behind her back. Two small crowns decorated their heads. I couldn't help but notice the small bump in the ladies stomach.

"Your majesty." Quinn spoke, gaining attention from the familiar looking man. He turned his head, showing of his vibrant red eyes and pitch black hair that covered his forehead. He looked young. Very young.

The woman's head snapped up at the same time and I couldn't help but notice her golden hair and bright blue eyes. Her plump link lips turned into a smile when her eyes fell on my brother. "B-B-Blue?" She stuttered. Her eyes glazed over, completely ignoring me, as she ran towards the shocked boy.

She engulfed him into a hug as tears ran down her cheeks. "Oh my baby." She whispered, followed by:"I missed you so much." And more comforting comments. Blue looked shocked before awkwardly rubbing her back.

The man, who seemed to snap out of shock, slowly stood up. "Red?" His deep voice spoke, sending shivers trough my body. I remembered this man.

I remembered it all. His vibrant eyes told me everything. It was him. "D-D-Dad?"

My eyes brimmed with tears as he started walking towards me, taking slow yet strong steps. Unlike the woman, he could control himself.

He stopped in front of me, as if taking me in. "You're back." He whispered in his terrorising voice.

Before I could realise what happened, his arms wrapped around me and his chin rested on my head. He stroked my head and squeezed me tight, as if he feared that I would disappear.

I didn't waste more time before reacting and wrapping my own arms around him. Then they both switched places as the lady who I knew was my mum hugged me and dad hugged Blue.

"Guys?," The neglected demon behind us spoke. "These are Shadow and Crystal, your parents."

My jaw dropped once again. There they were, the legendary demon and fairy, our parents. "We have a bit of catchup to do." Mum -wow it felt awards calling her that- chirped, and we all nodded. We did have a lot of catchup to do.
