I wasn't quite sure how long I was punching her until people were peeling me off of her, the scent of blood surrounding me as Kieran tried to bring me back to earth, my hands and wrist spattered with liquid crimson that only fueled me as my wolf fronted. I was hitting her with a force that was causing those around me to gasp, but I didn't care. I should've done this ages ago.

I knew he only did it because our guest were making their way towards the dining area and a crowd was forming. No more people needed to see I had a wolf.

I was growling as I stared down at her unconscious form, my wolf fighting me, wanting to show herself and finish the job.

"Alina, please entertain our guest while I get Charlotte cleaned up. Leah and Ez, if she's alive take her to the holding cells beneath the storehouses." Kieran ordered before anyone could even think and I was in his grip and in our room in a second where I was battling my wolf internally and still struggled to calm down my breathing.

I could hear Kieran's voice as he shouted my name, trying to get my attention, but I still saw red.

It wasn't until he pinned my arms above my head, and growled in my face, his eyes turning to that of his wolf's as he showed himself to me until I broke from my thoughts and my wolf's attention was drawn to her mate. To the Alpha that stood before us.

The way he held us, she enjoyed when he displayed his dominant side. His alpha male was on full display and every part of my wolf was drinking it in, hell, even I was.

I watched as Kieran's eyes dropped down to my cleavage that was exposed due to our position and he smirked as he leaned forward , placing a kiss on the top of my breast before he pulled away slowly, leaving me leaning towards him still unsatisfied as I looked up at his dark hazel eyes.

"Tease." I hissed at him.

"Oh, Mrs. Lupin, trust me, you'll get more than enough of what you want later." He promised with a wink.

I could feel my fingers itching in anticipation and I stood up straight at the sudden need for fresh air and I stepped into the bathroom where our window was open and a cool breeze floated in, helping cool my rising temperature and emotions.

I washed my arms and hands thoroughly, making sure to rid myself of the stench that coated me previously and I changed into a white lace sun dress.

I sighed contentedly as I saw I was as clean as clean could get and I walked out the restroom to see Kieran star fished on the bed.

"Is she dead?" I asked quietly.

"No, but I'm sure she wishes she was. Charlotte, this is our day. Do not let anyone take that from us." He said firmly as he stared at the ceiling.

I nodded. He was right.

This was my day of celebrating the love I have for my mate. We're a family and a damn good one.

I smiled as I launched myself at Kieran and landed on my side of the bed next to his large frame. I cuddled into the Charlotte sized crook in his neck , kissing his jaw softly before relaxing momentarily against him.

"I'll keep my cool if you keep yours." I said.

I grinned as Kieran's pinky finger flew up and he outstretched his arm towards me.

I chuckled as I hooked my visibly smaller pinky with his before we both sat up as we made a promise.

"Now, let's go show these people how to party." Kieran said with a smirk.

I chuckled as we ran outside, me on Kieran's back as he ran toward the reception.

Once again everyone sat around shyly as they ate and I sighed. As for my family and myself, we were just going to have a good time.

I smiled when I saw Daniel trying to clean pizza sauce off of a wiggling Willow who was gnawing on pizza crust, laughing in her high chair as music played and she watched her Aunt Alina dance next to her.

I walked over to the pizza bar, grinning as I looked at the dozen of options that stood before me.

After settling for one of each and a hefty serving of fettuccine, I made my way to the table where Kieran sat next to Ezra and Leah who were having a debate on who the better dancer was.

I smiled as Kieran spun me onto his lap, but he crossed the line when he bit into my pizza, my jaw dropping in shock as I gasped at the audacity of this man who just swallowed my pepperoni.

"You're my wife, what's yours is mine and what's mine is yours." Kieran said with a cheeky grin.

"You're lucky there are witnesses." I said staring at him as I held my finger up motioning around us.

"So are you. If it weren't for the audience, I would take you on this table." He growled in my ear quietly, his lips brushing against my ear as he spoke.

I felt tingles make their way down my back as I struggled to find a response.

"Or would you care to give our guest a show? It's not entirely a dealbreaker for me, darling. Some of these people could learn to live a little." He added and kissed the spot below my ear where his mark stood.

I yelped as I fell out of his lap and onto the floor at his bluntness and how true his words rang. I knew he meant them with every fiber of his being.

"Are you alright?" My mother asked, the sun beginning to set behind her, casting a warm glow around her from the hanging lights.

I nodded as I stared up at Kieran from the ground, who didn't even bother to stifle his laugh.

I couldn't help but smile as I stared up at him. I loved him. So much, he didn't even know.

"Dance with me?" I asked as I held my hand up.

I watched as Kieran's face softened as he stood up.

"I'll never tell you no." He said taking my hand, lifting me off the ground with ease.

I smiled as he snapped his fingers and the beautiful melody of a slow song began to play as we reached the cleared dance floor.

I wrapped my arms around Kieran's neck as the music floated around us as I listened to the beautiful tune.

Kieran kissed my lips softly as we began to dance slowly. I smiled up at him as he stared back at me.

"Thank you for making me understand that I am worth it. I know in my heart that if someone as lovely as you could love someone like me, then I'm at least headed in the right direction." He suddenly said, his eyes holding emotion.

"You are. You're my everything, Kieran. You are a good man and I love you with my whole heart." I said honestly as I rested my head against his chest.

I chuckled when he lifted me in his arms and he spun me.

I stared at him, gripping him by his tie as I brought him down to my level to kiss him. I kissed him slowly, wrapping my arms around him, never wanting to let go.

I pulled away, resting my head against his.

"You are and always will be worth it." I said.
