***1:30 A.M.***
I have no idea if I'm off our pack's territory yet. I sat down on a fallen tree, placing my bag beside me. Maybe running away wasn't such a great idea. I'm freezing my ass off right now.
Suddenly, I heard a growl. I leap to my feet, spinning around. A pale man stalked out of the shadows with an evil grin on his face.
"Vampire", I snarled.
He lets out a chuckle. " Now what is a pretty little pup like you on Vampire territory"?
Vampire territory? Shit. I took a step back.
"Stay back", I demanded. He just laughed and continued to walk towards me until he was a few inches away. Damn he was tall. He bent down until we were at eye level.
Now why would I do that", he asked." He haven't fed in a couple of weeks and it would be such a waste to just leave you here......alive". I brushed my hair behind my shoulder and he looked hungrily at my exposed neck.
Then I was shoved. I flew back and my back hit a tree. I fell head first in the mud. Oh my God! I'm going to be killed! Suddenly, there was pleasure against my spine against nd it pressed down. Hard. I heard a sick cracking sound and waves of unbearable pain shot through my body. Someone help me!!!!
Then another figure entered the clearing. The weight on my back disappeared and a cracking sound hit my ears causing my to flinch. I felt a cold hand press against my back. Even by the slightest touch, I screamed out in pain. It hurt like hell. My back had been broken. I felt a breath at my neck. I squeeze my eyes shut. This is it.... I'm going to die. Fangs sank into my skin and I blacked out.
