" OVER HERE!"

" COVER ME!"

" I GOT YOU!"

The sounds of screaming and squeaking of shoes filled the gym. If you weren't actually playing on the court you would have considered it annoying, but Kenma didn't pay any attention as of now it was on the small ginger, who's smile literally brightened up the room just a few moments ago.He watched as Hinata ran around the court, taking any chance he could get to hit the ball against his palm. The sweat that fell off his chin as he pushed on forward, his curly hair as it swayed the opposite direction of which he was intending to go.

" Hello...." He looked up to see the blonde giant with glasses hover over him, Kenma wouldn't admit that he was a little nervous as the blonde sat beside him.

" Hi." Kenma greeted not trying to be rude.

" So who's winning?" Tsukishima asked as Kenma froze in shock. Kenma attention has been on Hinata this whole time he wasn't even paying any attention the score.

" Why are you asking me when there's clearly a score board over there..." Kenma quickly covered himself, it seemed to work as Tsukishima walked off.

" HEY WATCH OUT!" Kenma heard someone yell before something heavy landed on top of him making him lose his balance and land on the floor.

" I'm so sorry Kenma! Are you okay?"

Kenma looked up to see Hinata on top of him, the look of panic on his face as he kept apologizing and asking if he was okay, and that he didn't mean to land on him. Kenma barely saw it from the corner of his eyes but he saw how Tsukishima and Kageyama was glaring at him from a distance. Looks like another opportunity came to view. He lazily wrapped his some-what muscular arms around Hinata's small frame, pressing the little ginger's body into his own.

" Are you okay?" Kenma asked as he brushed a piece of Hinata's hair and put it behind Hinata's ear. Kenma couldn't help but smirk as the ginger blushed.

" I-I'm fine, but are you okay? we landed pretty hard."

" As long as your okay then I am."

" ALRIGHT ENOUGH! COME ON BAKA! WE NEED TO PRACTICE!"

" oh right! " Hinata lifted himself off of Kenma and ran back to the court where they resumed the game. Kenma couldn't help but laugh at how easy it was to annoy the two freshmen.

And for the rest of the day Kenma made small passes towards the small ginger, annoying Kageyama and Tsukishima, all the way until dinner time. Everyone was gathered around the table grabbing at meat and filling their plates up. Kenma was scanning the table but there was something missing, or rather someone missing. Kenma decided to get up and look for that someone. Kuroo gave him a look before resuming to his meal in silence.

As Kenma walked around the hallway he notice that the bathroom light was on. He gave it a knock, nothing responded, until a small yes came from the other side of the door.

" Shouyo? are you okay."

" Y-Yea I'm fine, Perfectly Fine!!!" Hinata yelled as it seemed like he was busy doing something else.

" Shouyo I'm coming in.."

" WAIT DON-" Hinata was to late as Kenma came inside the bathroom only to look shocked, there was blood. A lot more than there should have been.

" Hinata! wh-what happened are you okay?" Kenma voice raised a little, alerting some of the others.

"I don't know! It just started to itch and when I scratched it, it started to bleed, and-" Hinata was cut off when Kenma quickly walked past him and opened a cabinet. There was a first aid kit inside, Kenma quickly grabbed the small bag and sat it on the counter.
