Chapter-2: Letters

I got up in the morning had my breakfast and started writing a letter to Amelia Bones.

Madame Bones,

I'm Selene Rosalie Potter as an heiress to ancient and Noble house of Potter request you to investigate regarding the matter of Sirius Orion Black who has happened to be my godfather. He was sent to Azkaban without a trail and according to law no 34 an heir or lord to an ancient and noble house cannot spend his life in Azkaban without a trail and when I investigated this matter with goblins, they told me that they are trying to push for his trial also I never found a file on this. I hope you will look into this matter and inform me about the trial date.

I gave this letter to Hedwig and told her to deliver it to Amelia Bones. Once again I started to read about Pureblood Etiquette and customs and traditions.
And I realized that I did wrong by denying the hand of Draco for friendship as it is seen as disrespectful towards the person and I understood that I should apologise to him and I decided then and there that I will do it when I will see him next year at school. I started once again reading the books I brought.

DMLE Head Office: (Amelia p.o.v):

I was working at my desk with concentration when a snowy owl flew onto my desk and lifted its right leg where a letter was tied and when I took it, I realized that it has potter Crest. Immediately I opened and started reading and what I read was unbelievable. I called Shacklebolt and barked orders.

"Shacklebolt immediately get me to file on Sirius Black now. This matter should be confidential. Do you understand?" I asked him.

"Yes, Madame Bones I will immediately do it." He said went away to get me the file.

After 3 long hours, Shacklebolt came back with empty hands which made me even angrier.

"Madame Bones there is no record stating that Sirius Black had a trail during at his time." He replied.

"Shacklebolt immediately contact Auror Moody saying that I want to meet him," I said and he nodded. After 40 mins Moody entered my chambers.

"Good morning Madame Bones what do you want from me?" He asked.

"Good morning Alastor. I have a letter from the heiress of potter indicating that Sirius Black didn't have a trail. So can you shed some light on this matter from your point of view? And please call me Amelia" I asked.

"Very well Amelia when we reached crime scene after Sirius cornered Peter and blasted gas cylinder while killing 13 muggles and Peter Pettigrew He was laughing maniacally repeating "I killed them" continuously. After we captured him and put him in interrogation cell, I along with my team left from there to fight other death eaters as it was wartime and Dark Lord went down that night, but I thought he had a trail but now when I give a thought to it he never had a trail." He said and I sank low in my seat.

"It is not a good thing Alastor because he is heir and Lord to an ancient and noble house while he never had a trail why didn't his family asked for a trail?" I questioned.
