                          Why?
                          Why does it have to be her?
Please not her.
Anyone but her.

                          Let it be me instead.
I just want her to be happy.
Why did it have to be her?
                          Why is it her who takes the hit?
Why is it her that needs to get hurt?
Why oh why, did it have to be her?
                          Why is it the good ones who are given pain?
They're mostly taken away,
Is there anyone I could ever persuade?
                          Please not them.
Please not her.
End it for them.
                          Just let it be me.
Please, let it be me.
The one who gets hurt instead.
