"This is the clubroom," Ushijima said as he opened the door for you.

Your jaw dropped upon coming into sight with the room, completely in awe of how it looked like. This was no regular clubroom after all. You had complained about how the library was always packed with people so it was difficult to do the necessary paperwork for the club – well, it was no surprise; it was a top school in the prefecture after all.

"Well, why don't you use our clubroom?" Ohira suggested.

You narrowed your eyes at his statement. Often clubrooms were more like filthy locker rooms or a small space to keep all your belongings. Safe to say, you were pretty skeptical about it, but it wasn't just you. Ushijima felt somewhat uncomfortable allowing you to use the room as well – after all, he was still unconvinced by your role, but much to his dismay (and democracy), the team voted to allow you to use it.

"This is not a clubroom," you replied to your captain, walking in.

The room looked more like a conference room – with a long table but short in height with several cushions, several shelves and cupboards along the sides filled with trophies, awards and files. On one wall, you noticed about more than 30 framed pictures of what you could only assume to be the past teams of the Shiratorizawa Volleyball Club.

"I thought it would be more like a filthy locker room," you replied in honesty.

Your captain shrugged, "We have that next door." You noticed that the room was connected to another, and peeking through the door slightly was in fact the 'filthy locker room' that was necessary. He continued his explanation. "We often keep our cleaner stuff here to prevent it from smelling too bad."

Your eyes suddenly went to a jar of cookies casually placed on the table. "Oh my god, cookies! I'm starving," you exclaimed, about to grab it, but Ushijima beat you to it.

Clenching the jar with an arm, he said, "These are not for you."

You pouted, "But what if I get hungry?"

"Too bad," he told you. He then proceeded to place the jar on the highest point of the shelves, where he was certain you couldn't reach.

You grunted, "You're so stingy!"

He was completely unbothered. "I allowed you to use this room, didn't I?"

You stuck your tongue out to him in a teasing way, crossing your arms as you did so and blowing a raspberry.

He stared at you, "Prideful and childish."

"Shut up!"

"Go on then, do your work. I am the only one with keys to the room, so I will have to lock it back after you're done. I will be back just before curfew," he informed you.

You smiled and saluted the boy, "Roger that, captain."

As he watched your very simple movements, he couldn't help but feel something bubbling inside of him. He wasn't sure what it was exactly, but that feeling – it was something he had never really felt before – and yet he felt it on occasion with you, for instance right now. With your large grin and sparkling eyes, he couldn't help but find himself thinking, Cute.

He snapped himself back to reality, shaking off the thoughts in his head. He didn't utter another word – he was afraid to. With that, he left you to work.

You were almost finished up with filing the members' documents when an irritating noise echoed from your tummy. You sighed, knowing fairly well you were in dire need of something to munch on. No, just hold it in, you told yourself.
