Princess prom

————(Y/n) POV————

I'm in Catras room waiting for her to come back since she said she was getting something and wanted me to stay here and I'm on her bed and the door opens

"Ok Scorpia get inside" Catra says

"Hi Scorpia" I say happily and get up

"(Y/n) it's good to see you again" Scorpia says

Scorpia is about to hug me and Catra growls making me back away and Scorpia lower her arms

"I brought you in here for a reason Scorpia don't make me regret it" Catra says

"I won't" Scorpia says

Scorpia and I sit on Catras bed, well me and Catras bed I guess?

"I'm sick of this. Shadow Weaver failed to get Adora and if Hordak finds out she'll take us down with her. She's obsessed. We need to think big picture. It's time for someone new to take over. Me. So, you in?" Catra asks Scorpia

"I'm hanging out in your room!" Scorpia says cheerfully

"it's not a big deal Scorpia I'm in here all the time" I say

"Unfortunately, you two are the only ones I can trust around here," Catra says

"Because we're best friends" Scorpia says

"Ugh Stop being so you and help me think and you're not my best friend, (Y/n) and Adora are" Catra says

I'm still her best friend? I thought Adora was her one and only best friend

"I have the beginning of a plan, but it's not enough. I need to capture Adora so Shadow Weaver doesn't demote me and doesn't take (Y)-never mind. I need to impress Hordak so he'll make me the new Shadow Weaver. How do I do both?" Catra says

"Why don't you try something at the All-Princess Ball? Every princess is gonna be there, so Adora probably will be too. Ooh! This year's theme is Winter Wonderland." Scorpia says and pulls out some paper thing

Catra grabs the paper thing Scorpia has

"How did you get your claws on this" Catra asks

"They sent it to me. I'm a princess" Scorpia says

Catra and I look shocked and confused

"You're a princess!?" Catra says

"Wow you are" I say

"Yeah. The Horde crash landed in my family's kingdom. We let them stay. My family gave Hordak our rune stone the Black Garnet" Scorpia says

"Wow" I say and remember how much the horde fucking sucked taking away people's family homes and kingdoms

"You're a princess?" Catra asks again

"Yes Catra she is" I say

I thought everyone knew. I mean, it's covered in Force Captain Orientation" Scorpia says

"Not everyone knew" I say

"I'm beginning to think I shouldn't have skipped that. Okay, so you're a princess, and you're going to a princess ball" Catra says

"Oh no. I'm not going. No. No one liked my family, even before we joined The Horde. I never really fit with the other princesses. I made them uncomfortable and they don't like that. They don't like me" Scorpia says

I put my hand on her shoulder and smile at her and she smiles back

"And that's exactly why you have to go! How dare they pretend they're better just because you're different! How dare they abandon people just because they don't fit into their perfect little lives!" Catra rants
