I know that COVID can be triggering for some, so I'll try not to make it the main point of the next few chapters. It will be difficult not to mention it because it is a major worldwide event. Speaking of COVID: STOP ASIAN HATE. Asian hate crimes have drastically increased since the beginning of the pandemic. I have heard people call the Coronavirus the "China virus" or the "Kung flu". Stop. Even as a joke, it's hurtful to the Asian community. Asian people have done nothing wrong. They did not bring this virus to America. (I live in America, hence why that's my example.) It's 2021. Show some respect.
Be sure to support Asian owned businesses when you can. If you can donate to Stop AAPI Hate, that's good, too. There's also a place on the website where you can report an incident in your community.
