Brunch went by in a blink of an eye, the two of us laughing about past relationships and talking about future plans. But when the subject of children was brought up, he brushed off with a few words. It weirded me out a little if I'm being honest, but at the same time I think it was a bit too early to bring up the subject.
The two of us drove home after a quiet stroll in the park and when we entered the house one of the guards told us that Jessica went out to get lunch while Marie when out with one of her friends, which meant that we had the whole house for ourselves.
"I'll go unpack" I told Lionel
"I can help if you'd like" he said with a small smile as he looked down at me
"That'll be great actually" I smiled softly
Lionel motioned to one of the guards to get my stuff upstairs into his room. I was about to walk after the guard, thinking Lionel would do the same, but instead he held me by my wrist
"What is it?" I asked softly as I looked at him
"I have to show you something, a room to be exact" he relied.
My eyebrows furrowed slightly at his words "Well then, lead the way" I chuckled
We walked up the stairs but instead of going to the right, where the bedrooms were, we went to the left.
"There it is" he said as we stopped in front of a white door
"So, wanna show me what's behind it?" I asked
"You sure you want to see it?" he asked, leaning down
"Just show me already" I replied
He smirked and opened the door, motioning for me to enter. I entered the dark room and Lionel entered after me, turning on the lights.
I squinted slightly because of the sudden light, and when my eyes adjusted to it, I opened them and looked around the room with my mouth ajar. The walls of the room were red, ropes, handcuffs, whips, belts and riding crops hanging off of them, a king sized bed in the middle of the room, placed against the wall.
"Lionel...is this..." I began, turning around to face him "is this a red room?"
"Yes" he replied, his hands placed on the small of my waist "and we can use it whenever you wish"
